I'm in total agreement. From what I've read and in watching her interviews this was not the most welcoming environment. Considering the obvious lack of diversity, particularly people of color. But through it all she still succeeded to the top of her craft!! To her l say "BRAVO"!! We in the black and brown community are sooooo proud. You represent us well. Unfortunately the artistic dancer was subjected to what many of brown black endure trying to prove herself talented Chocolate Nutcracker 😏 Very good she met the Bradley family who acknowledged her talent however Mom gets her to come back to live at home. Misty will tell you her story and the issues ballet had with the request for leotard tights to be the brown hue.
Her mother sounds like a bit of a mess. 4 divorces. Misty is a stunning dancer. Love her work with Prince, dancing on a piano. She's a wonderful role model❤
