What a deep comment! It really resonated with me in terms of my health and getting enough exercise. If I didn't change the way I ate, I would not be here. I made the neccessary adjustments. I feel so much better.
"Your body is broken. You need to be fixed." I have chills. The fact that she can sit there and speak to us is a miracle. Whew. Ms. Lewis makes a good point about taking care of your body. My mother had back and knee surgery in her late 60s and early 70s and she recovered so quickly because she was so fit. She exercises daily and lifts weight several times a week, even in her 70s. Doing so really made a difference. Oh, how I wish Ms. Lewis well! She still has so much to do and discover here. I am so grateful that she is optimistic and driven. May she be supernaturally healed!
Those Kenyan women doing auntie’s hair almost made me cry. They showed her so much humanity in that small act. As black women, we know how important our hair is to us and those women were giving her back the little bit of dignity they could in that situation.

You look as fabulous and vivacious as ever!❤
God has angels all around us. This is similar to my story. I was in a roll over car accident and ejected from the car even though I had a seat belt on. We dont realize how short and precious life is and how we take it for granted when we can get up from bed and not need help. This is such an amazing story ❤ I am 6 years from my accident and I never take anything for granted anymore and I am so thankful everyday for just waking up and being able to get out of bed without a wheelchair and walker. This year I started with a personal trainer and doing yoga. I need to take care of this body that God gave me another chance in. Such an amazing testimony
I stubbled on this story and was like WHILE...glad she is healing. Not sure what her religious beliefs are but I pray if she has not been baptized in the name of Jesus and filled with his precious Holy Spirit that she ask him to direct her to a church where she can be so she can get up in heaven. Ms. Jennifer survived because she was flexible. So inspirational: "Get up and move your body." Thank GOD for her covering and total healing. I'm believing him for just that. 🙏🏽
You were in Good Hands. The Dr who put a Titanium Bar in My Broken Neck was from Kenya. He looked at me & said “I do good work” He did. I know he had the most beautiful skin I have ever seen. I swear it shined like Copper. from the time he enter the hallway you could hear him greet everyone. A Miracle Man.
she is so full of the holly spirt she walked through the fire and showed you need only you to pick yourself up no one can do it but you such a beautiful soul a great interview
I’m so happy to see this story being shared. I had a similar injury that happened in 2022 and I’m still rehabbing. I had to relearn how to walk and if I’d given up cuz it was easier to do so if still be partially paralyzed and using a walker . I thank god for my guardian angels and the ability to feel and walk again cuz at one point I don’t think I would. I still have a way to go but each day is a bit better than the day before. Thanks so much for doing this interview.
What an absolute miracle!! I love stories like these because it just goes to show that if it’s not your time to go, no matter what happens to you, you’ll make it through.
In November I hit a brick wall head on.. I broke both ankles, completely shattered the right with an open fracture. I had an external fixture for a few months. I had to move in with my daughter, used a bedside toilet and was bedridden. I just got the clearing to put weight on the right leg. God is good!! I only had ankle injuries. Before this I was super independent, and a huge introvert that didn’t leave the house much. I’m an accountant that would only leave my office to use the restroom. Life changed!!! I have pins and screws in my ankles but I’m starting to walk.. and will be walking moving and leaving the house more.. life changed.
Praise the Most High. May you continue to recover and thrive. Many won't acknowledge your comment bc it's not singing the praises of Jenifer. While we ought be thankful for her being preserved, YOU gave the Healer the glory. That,to me, is a true testimony! Bless you!
So glad she's still with us and still has full mobility. Shout out to her irrepressible spirit/strength, her friend traveling with her who called for help and the outstanding medical team. She's such an icon and a lovely person.

I understand. I have fallen mentally as well back in 2015. 2020 just made it worst. I had a hysterectomy and that definitely added to my depression. I'm currently on leave now. All I can say is take it one day at a time and get help if you're not already. Hugs.

@sandrawaweru No doubt! Without the emergency surgery done IN Africa she knows she wouldn’t be here. She just wanted to go home to be near her family & friends. And thankfully she’s thriving now. A major win for EVERYONE 🙌🏼🙌🏼💖💖
Grateful that it ended well, and thank you for the compliments on Kenyan doctors. Can assure you that Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi is as good as Mayo Clinic, Rochester
The lessons and wisdom on display here transcends Aunties journey of recovery, it’s a true gospel on how to as she put it “get up” and keep living. Love this interview
(Tears) I’m so glad Auntie survived to tell her story. I understood what she meant when she said she didn’t want to tell her family. She didn’t want them worried and there’s also some pride in there, as being the most successful or strongest in one’s family- we don’t like our family to see us down because we’re so used to them needing us, not the other way around.
7:01 this is frightening. The human body is more fragile than it appears. 12:57 case in point. What’s underneath is so much more important than the surface. I’m in tears watching this. It’s a MIRACLE that she can walk and talk today. 16:42 oh yes. No matter the number of years - it’s all short and each moment is more precious than we realize in the moment. 17:10 wow, this statement is profound: “if there’s pain let me feel it so I can fix it.” 17:37 I see the goodness of God throughout these clips of her recovery process. 19:20 lesson received. This needs to be instilled from an elementary level. We only get one body. Our number one priority should be to care for it at all times and not neglect it in the name of pursuing everything else first 20:15 amen “get up” 22:21 life is still the greatest gift 🙏❤️

What a story! Nothing but the grace and mercy of God to see her through this. God bless her. Thank you for showing us that it’s possible to get back up Ms. Jennifer Lewis. 💕🙏🏾
I just love Auntie Jennifer. This breaks my heart but I’m so grateful for all the people that were there to help her. So grateful that God spared her life. Hopefully they fix that balcony so no one else gets hurt. My God
Thank you Jennifer. You tell the world. "After the fall" there is hope and there is life.❤❤❤❤
Amen 🙏
Yes… I needed to hear this personally. ❤️🩹🙏🏾😢 Wishing Ms. Lewis, the absolute best in her continual healing, along with recovery.❤️🩹
Ms. Jennifer survived because she was flexible. So inspirational: "Get up and move your body." Thank GOD for her covering and total healing. I'm believing him for just that. 🙏🏽
She reminds me so much of my mother....Thank you God for watching over her ❤❤❤
You were in Good Hands.
I love this woman!!! I'm so glad she is still a light shining in this world! When she says, "Baby," it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside. ❤
I just came from watching the mini segment...i had to come to the full interview.....
.....all i can say is powerful omg
I’m so happy to see this story being shared. I had a similar injury that happened in 2022 and I’m still rehabbing. I had to relearn how to walk and if I’d given up cuz it was easier to do so if still be partially paralyzed and using a walker . I thank god for my guardian angels and the ability to feel and walk again cuz at one point I don’t think I would. I still have a way to go but each day is a bit better than the day before. Thanks so much for doing this interview.
Little after one year, you gain the strength to do this interview. What a miracle!
I’ve watched it many, many times. I never tire of her and I have so much love for her. She speaks to my soul.
I love how Robin interview with such empathy ❤ God Bless Jennifer and Robin for this amazing moment
What an absolute miracle!! I love stories like these because it just goes to show that if it’s not your time to go, no matter what happens to you, you’ll make it through.
I am so glad she survived and is able to tell the story such a wonderful storyteller
What an amazing, encouraging testimony.
I cried through the whole interview! Shes a strong lady, so full of life.....Love you Jennifer!!!!❤
I’m getting up!! Thank you Ms. Lewis for your inspiration. You have no idea how much your testimony has blessed me💜
In November I hit a brick wall head on..
Bless you!
@@RestorationEdenMinistries thank you!! 🙏🏾 I’m so blessed
May God bless you & keep you! Thank Him for your daughter! God has been Good to you both!
Bless you and your continued healing❤
So glad she's still with us and still has full mobility. Shout out to her irrepressible spirit/strength, her friend traveling with her who called for help and the outstanding medical team. She's such an icon and a lovely person.
" I'm walking, but I'm still in pain, and I know I will feel this for the rest of my life " ❤
NO YOU WILL NOT FEEL THE PAIN THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!! THE LORD IS OUR HEALER. ISAIAH 53:5 SAYS "BY HIS STRIPES WE ARE HEALED, THEREFORE YOU ARE HEALED AND THE PAIN IS GOING AWAY. TYJ❤
@j49bd189 I love Jesús and everything, but it has been 32 years, and it's not going anywhere, appeantly. Her point was that she was grateful to be alive regardless of the pain and horror that she went through. Amen! 🙏🏽

@@ramibasioni8624 WITHOUT FAITH IT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO PLEASE GOD. IT WILL BE 29 YEARS DECEMBER 1995 SINCE GOD HEALED ME OF AGGRESSIVE STAGE 3 CANCER AND BY HIS GRACE & MERCY IT HAS NOT RETURNED AND BY FAITH I WILL REMAIN CANCER AND PAIN FREE TIL HE BRINGS ME TO HEAVEN. I WILL PRAY THAT GOD HEAL YOU. TYJ❤️
OMG, Jennifer is my favorite actor of all time. I love her spirit, personality. I’m so happy she’s going to be healed. This story brought me to tears. This is a movie.
I fell mentally March 2020 so I’ve been frozen in time and I haven’t been able to get back up. Thank you. I needed this.❤
One day at a time and you will recover it time ❤
@@trulyrblessedUnlikely, the CDC just removed their c0 vid isolation guidelines and most people won't mask anymore, y'all just open-mouth cough, flailing like unmanned firehoses 🙃 Btw there's no treatment for long c0 vid.
@@StrawmnMcPersonwhat did that have to do with the the comment?
I understand. I have fallen mentally as well back in 2015. 2020 just made it worst. I had a hysterectomy and that definitely added to my depression. I'm currently on leave now. All I can say is take it one day at a time and get help if you're not already. Hugs.
I sincerely appreciate the encouragement. 🙏🏽
What a strong inspirational woman. May God continue to bless & protect her. I so needed this to uplift me from my current fall in life👏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾.
So happy to see our auntie in good health and spirit. This was a true testament to resilience. I’m glad she also mentioned her therapy being a useful tool. ❤️
Incredible recovery story..sometimes we just take life for granted..we should be thankful for everything ..very humbling..God bless you Jenifer..you are such an inspiration..thank you for sharing 🙏
life is precious and time is fleeting…
Oscar winning recounting. She almost cried!
Agakhan Nairobi has the best doctors in Africa, you would have healed well even in Nairobi. Good to see you doing well.
@sandrawaweru No doubt! Without the emergency surgery done IN Africa she knows she wouldn’t be here. She just wanted to go home to be near her family & friends. And thankfully she’s thriving now. A major win for EVERYONE 🙌🏼🙌🏼💖💖
"Laugh when nothing is funny" 😢❤
Good humor, cause she said the animals talk about her..WOW!..😂
This is a harrowing story of fear, courage and God’s grace. 😇 Blessings to her for coming through to get back to life. 🙏🏾💔🥰
Wow. She is really brings the drama to this story. Feels like a sermon 🙌
This is a true testimony of Jenifer Lewis!
That's how Jennifer talks.
@@ayshlaila3975 I love it
It's her testimony
She's courage and grace personified! I'm so very glad she's well despite everything she went through! ❤
Nothing but excellence from Robyn! So glad to have you back Ms. Lewis!
Thank you for sharing your journey to recovery! Awesome interview Robin!♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Grateful that it ended well, and thank you for the compliments on Kenyan doctors. Can assure you that Aga Khan Hospital, Nairobi is as good as Mayo Clinic, Rochester
You have inspired me so many times. God knows we still need you. YOU show us how life should be lived in the hills and the valley. LOVE!!
17:10 wow, this statement is profound: “if there’s pain let me feel it so I can fix it.”
17:37 I see the goodness of God throughout these clips of her recovery process.
19:20 lesson received. This needs to be instilled from an elementary level. We only get one body. Our number one priority should be to care for it at all times and not neglect it in the name of pursuing everything else first
20:15 amen “get up”
22:21 life is still the greatest gift 🙏❤️
Thank you for telling your story. It encourages me more than u will ever no. Keep moving sis! We love u Jenny!
Thank you Ms. Lewis for sharing your story. I thank God you are still here. Seven weeks ago I was in a horrible car accident that left me with several injuries & bruises. Hearing your story has inspired me to continue on my healing journey. God bless. 💜
Sending her tons of love from Africa...Uganda❤
It takes forever for nerve endings to heal. Jenifer Lewis is the woman. Wise. She broke, mended. May peace be upon her and long her days!
I’m so so happy Jennifer that you are still with us. You have made me laugh so often - it’s time that WE the public keep that beautiful smile on your face. Start saying the pain is gone - not that you’ll have it for the rest of your life - THE PAIN IS GONE - my affirmation for you 💕
I love Jennifer Lewis she inspire me in so many ways in happy for her healing God continue to bless you
