Here is my favorite applesauce cookie recipe Recipe Details Bake Time: 8-12 minutes 1 cup (2 sticks) butter 1 1/2 cups sugar 4 eggs, well beaten 6 cups flour 6 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 small can frozen orange juice frosting, optional Directions Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cream together butter and sugar. Add remaining ingredients, mix well. Chill dough 10 minutes. Roll into approximately 80 medium balls and place on greased pans. Bake for 8-12 minutes. Do not over bake. If desired, frost with a mixture of powdered sugar, orange extract and milk or cream, when cooled. Sprinkle with decorative sprinkles.
