We live in upstate and we see migrants roaming the area stealing food off of people's vegetable stands and wood for their fire so they can camp out in the woods there's a large number up ready up here in Western New York that are not in shelters they're literally camping out in the woods roaming people's properties This is terrible his country is not a place that anybody wants to live or be in anymore the way I see it the migrants can have this place because they can pay the high cost for the groceries which I'm sure the government's giving them for free as a turn away its own citizens for help that's needed

They won't come up here without prior permission, it's OUR law not NYCs. I live in Monroe County, NY and we adopted a law last May saying that migrants cannot be housed in our hotels nor other shelters without our PRIOR permission, and whoever sends them there must pay for their support.

NYC residents struggle in pay check to pay checks. Homeless families, poor families and middle class families need help the most. Asylum seekers from Asia should be placed in Chinatown, African ones should be placed in predominantly black neighborhoods, and Hispanic in Hispanic neighborhoods. It will make them feel more like at home, and help them assimilate faster; they may even get married more easily and have little babies.
