Just seen you video it’s phenomenal work just asking which paint did you use if you don’t mind me asking I’ve got the parts now and want to try. Brilliant work again
Thank you! I used molotow liquid chrome. It comes in a paint pen but i found it much easier to use with a brush. I carefully cut the pen head off and drained it.
@@Westyboycollectorhobby lobby has a few size pens. 2mm,4mm.i got the 4mm ,it had more than plenty.i painted mcfarlane freeze, the old kenner freeze,a neca t 800 terminator, and still have leftovers lol. The paint pen itself does pretty good .i just found that it kinda left streaks and was very hard to work it into the fine details of his suit. If you decide to use a brush,it cleans up great with just rubbing alcohol.
Thank you! I used molotow liquid chrome and give it 3 very light coats of spaz stix ultimate clear coat for mirror chrome. It will loose a bit of shine but overall does really well,no primer
Hello, im also a customizer and am very impressed with this Mr.Freeze....I found the liquid chrome but am having trouble finding the right kind of gloss clear coat....also where do I find those acrylic reflective pieces and what exactly is it called?
Thank you! The gloss is a bit tricky. I experimented. I tried the vallejo gloss varnish. I airbrushed it on in very very thin coats. It worked pretty well. But then i tried spaz stix ultimate clear coat for mirror chrome. Again very thin coats. It worked great! I would say i lost about 20 % of the mirror shine but still i thought it looked very good.for the holographic pieces, i found it in a roll at walmart. Its in the sewing section. You have to buy a roll but its only 8 bucks. To get it to work right you have to take a razor knife and cut off some of the roundness. I tried it without cutting and it tends to wrinkle
@@charlesalexanderjr2247 I appreciate it so much....I've become addicted to collecting and now that I'm customizing it's even more addicting! I'll keep watching your videos....again that Mr.Freeze is beautiful
@@charlesalexanderjr2247 Exactly....I do the same...I guess that's what Neca is for lol....plus customizing allows you to have your own unique collection....anyway...take care man and keep up good work
For the armor i used molotow liquid chrome . It comes in a paint pen,you can get it at hobby lobby. I found it was much easier to cut it open, pour the paint into a small bottle and use a brush to paint the figure. It cleans up with regular rubbing alcohol.
In L.A. I don't think we have Hobby Lobby. I looked on Amazon. But can't ever find the right shade for many figures. I even called a shop that sold models, and they only had 2 types of gold paint. I need to find the right shade for "Tech Armor Batman". It's metallic gold. Thanks for answering though! @@charlesalexanderjr2247
This is marvelous work! Those reflective vinyl pieces are such a great touch!
What a wonderful visually fantastic custom, you should do that for a living. Magnificent work boss.
Very cool! LOVE the reflective pieces! Brilliant solution!
great repaint -this is what "McKenner" should have done in the first place and also replace those soft plastic capes with cloth - great work
I really like your videos keep doing what you do
Beautiful! Now the eyes! The eyes should be blue and clear
Beautifully done
Looks like Thanos Freeze.
Beautiful! 🔥🔥🔥
Neat idea for the light up bits. Will definitely try this.
Damn! That looks amazing.
