I know that the red stuff is not blood and it’s actually red vines that helped develop the snake but every time I see someone cutting the egg I get really anxious (ps love your videos and your snakes ✨
@@alinaadelaida did you not see the part that said they love the videos?? it just makes them slightly anxious bit they still enjoy watching the videos lol
I mean, they are technically still veins. They do have blood in them (as far as I'm aware), it's just completely safe to cut them once the lil noodles have developed! (or... Already passed in the egg...)
@@PanBoi64 your right, the veins in the egg are completely fine to cut, especially since the babies who do pip the egg on their own might also cut them.
It’s just not necessary. He doesn’t risk harming the snakes (although I’m sure he washed his hands before this) because they’re already fully developed and the goop and blood will wash right off.
Well if you didn’t notice there was a little bit of mold on the tip of the egg and the liquid that comes out of it was yellow which normally isn’t a good sign. Hope it’s alright!
Probably should research yourself bit i think they only have the egg tooth and also they might not be aggressive right out of the egg but I am not sure
Ball pythons are very docile snakes and tend to hide in a ball as a defensive move before ever feeling the need to strike, unless u get a sassy one lol
Baby snakes pip the egg using an egg tooth, which if you look at pictures is a tiny tooth that is too dull to cut through skin. Of course when they grown they will get their actual teeth but at this age they are harmless, as well as this type of snake aren’t really agressive
I know that lots of people have said this before in your videos, but I’m so glad that you pay attention to if the snake is supposed to hatch or not, because some people think they can just cut the eggs open even though none of the snakes had hatched yet, and that causes so many bad things
Hey, sorry if this seems rude but can please put a trigger warning before you open the egg? I know it’s not blood but it make me very anxious and uncomfortable and it would definitely help me and others to prepare ourselves. Other than that I love how careful you are with the eggs and how you take care of the snakes it’s really cool
I don’t see why a trigger warning is necessary…he said he was going to cut the egg and you could see he was about too if you’re hard of hearing or have sound off. That should be a fair warning.
So if you have any animals like snakes, baby snakes, any kind of snakes that are not venom and spiders that are not venom in like Scorpios that don’t hurt you or like having venom because I am seven years old and I really like scary pets so if you could can, I have some pets that are just like I said
Any animal can hurt you. I don’t wanna scare you, but all animals can be dangerous. A hedgehog could spike you, a cat could scratch you, a dog could bite you, etc. Ball pythons, the snake in this video, are generally friendly if they were handled properly as babies. And they’re not venomous!! And good job for knowing they’re venomous and not poisonous lol I know 15 year olds who can’t even tell that difference.
He probably touched the snake to see if it responded to his touch. Usually if a snake has not hatched yet breeders will just tap the snake and if it is alive and healthy it will move its body in response
That’s so if they drop the container with the eggs or if it tilts and the eggs turn, they can face then back up. If they didn’t do that the snakes would drown in their own fluids
it tells the breeder what side is up on the egg. after the eggs are laid the embryo sticks to a side of the egg, generally the bottom iirc and if the egg is rotated after there’s a chance the snake could drown in it’s own fluid. if the egg rolls or if something else happens the x ensures the egg will be put back on the correct side :)
I only hatch about 10 or so clutches a year so may be 50-100 snakes a year. I’m a small hobby breeder. And that includes all species not just ball pythons. Im also working with hognose, childrens pythons, Bredli pythons, and corn snakes.

A snake won’t bite you unless your stressing them out, most common bites are from them missing there food and getting peoples hands
Baby snakes pip the egg using an egg tooth, which if you look at pictures is a tiny tooth that is too dull to cut through skin. Of course when they grown they will get their actual teeth but at this age they are harmless, as well as this type of snake aren’t really agressive
The thing is, you can’t. If they are feeling spicy they might bite you, even right out of the egg! They are docile so the prob won’t but they might!!
Why are these snake videos so satisfying to watch

What was the brownish green thing on the bottem tip of the egg??
mold, but its normal
Mold is Petty normal them okey

I always get anxious when you say “so I decided to cut the egg open”. I’m always anxious watching your videos.
"Just 5 more minutes"
Oh they look cute
So is the hatching date "birthday", the day their head pops out of the egg or the day they come all the way out of the egg?
Sir what happened if snake not succeed to come out of egg ?
I hate how cute they are I just want one
Baby Snake: What the eff? Dude, I wanna sleep in!
Maybe I was just tired 😴 and those things are cute🐍
Can the snake still breathe in the egg
yep
I love snakes 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Do you wash your hands and tools before cutting it open
😐
Are there any snakes that have died
What type of ball pythons are they
They look like just regular morphs
This has probably been answered before, but why do the eggs grow mold sometimes?
Why do you put parchment paper on top instead of just the lid? I’m just curious plus love your snakes
Proceeds to close* Fly: AY LEMME IN
Dude where did you get those
Cause I love snakes
The random fly at the end: ME WANT DANGER NOODLE FOR LUNCH!
The snake just wants to sleep in. I feel that.
"just 5 more minutes" 🐍❤😅
The snake: alright lemme sleep for one more hour
The guy: oh the snake didn’t hatch lemme check on it
The snake: NO NO DONT PLEASE I BEG YOU

That fly at the end really wanted to get in
nice unboxing
"5 more minutes dad"
Why does the eggs look like something edible sorry
Hi Saul, like mold on it on the side I know it’s like a brownish black
POV you see that fly at the end of the video try to get into the incubator
If the snake doesn’t hatch in the wild, would the mother incubating it hatch it unauthenticcally
I like that one whos just sitting there with his nose poking out
The fly:AY LET ME IN THAT BOX LEMME SEE WHAT IS IN THERE ALRIGHT?
the fly bob:trust me you don’t wanna go in there…
Do you have to have clean hands before opening the eggs?
How do you know its not dead?
He probably touched the snake to see if it responded to his touch. Usually if a snake has not hatched yet breeders will just tap the snake and if it is alive and healthy it will move its body in response
My god you got lots of molding eggs, been watching this for 15 minutes and you just keep bringing them
What’s that black spot on the egg?
Snake unboxing, mmm yummy
Sooo cute
Do you have tips for new ball python keepers
“Well hello there sir”
Wait have you have an snake death? (I'm curious)
What was that staff on the side of the egg
Is that mold?
I was just wondering what the little x is
That’s so if they drop the container with the eggs or if it tilts and the eggs turn, they can face then back up. If they didn’t do that the snakes would drown in their own fluids
So he can make sure the eggs stay upright and don’t shift
Thank you
Just rip it out of there like Jay does. Lol! I'm kidding!
What’s the x for?
it tells the breeder what side is up on the egg. after the eggs are laid the embryo sticks to a side of the egg, generally the bottom iirc and if the egg is rotated after there’s a chance the snake could drown in it’s own fluid. if the egg rolls or if something else happens the x ensures the egg will be put back on the correct side :)
One of the eggs has green circle on it
I don't think that one made it it didn't lock responsive and the color of the egg goop was very sorta cloudy but did it make it
Part 2 please
Wher dk you get the snakes?
Howany eggs are you hatching a week
Are you in anyway increasing the pythons population

I'm sorry to ask but how do you know there is no issue when you just peek inside?. Honestly I can't really see what's in there..

What was the green stuff on the bottom egg?
Mold
