Of course the type of storage the orchid has definitely played it's part. Thankfully they were obviously healthy specimens when they left the seller.
That's incredible! I'm really glad these guys made it to you mostly intact! The longest I had a plant stuck in a box was about 2 weeks. It was a Japanese white pine pre-bonsai, which for sure wouldn't survive a 100 day transit in the heat of summer. I'm excited to see their journey!

Amazing! I never would have thought they would survive that. I love your videos. You're the reason that my mom's orchids are thriving, because now we know how to care for them well. I was also able to save and rehab a dying phalaenopsis from the dollar store lol 💕❤

Hi, due to the lack of photo period and the dehydration, orchids regulate their breathing and keep their stomatas mainly shut, conserving water which would be lost through this process ☺️
@@MissOrchidGirl ok as they naturally do conserve water & retention of moisture probably is second nature. Interesting survival mechanism if I can call it that ! Xoxo

Hi, that depends on each individual seller or nursery, there is really no set rule with these things. Best thing to do is to read their term and conditions, or contact them directly. Good luck!

Alive after 100 days in transit! Wow...that does not happens in Florida lol. Mine spent 12 days and almost all roots were black
