Easy Brackets are an innovative two point docking system that allows the quick and easy installation and removal of saddlebags. Easy Brackets use two existing bolts holes in the fender rail of the motorcycle. Have my ez brackets on for about 5 years now on my vtx 1300 and I have no issues & no rusting ...if your are rusting I suggest you cover the bike in the rain sand them down and powder coat them .

Hi Kyle you made that look so easy, and I have purchased the easy brackets, however I have sopport brackets on the bike already from the throw over bags and Im wondering how do I get them off it looks like they are bolted with the shock now I can and will jack the bike up but Im not sure about the stability if any Ill have with the bike up..I have a 95 HD 883 xlh .. please advise... Tammy

I noticed you did the bolts opposite of what Easy Brackets says. To me, that seems like a much better idea, because of exactly the reason you mentioned. One question though, have you noticed any issues with mounting them like that? The ends of the bolts don't interfere with the bag placement on the docking post at all? It looks like they would in the top holes. Also, is there any danger of them hitting the fender, or are they low enough to avoid that? Thanks.

Hey kyle, I want to do this with my fatboy. I already have the posts on for my detachable sissybar. Do they have brackets that allow for multiple attachments? Like my sissybar and bags?

I have a 2016 softtail, and have easy brackets mounted with the Harley detachable sissy bar. I wanted the ability to take it all off if I wanted, which provides a different feel and look.

At 4:25 Kyle tells you to mount the universal hardware in the bags with the button heads inside the bags, but this will cause a conflict with the docking hardware. The threaded part of the bolts, washers, and nylon lock nut should be to the inside the bags for proper fit.
