The top edge of my windshield goes smack dap right through the middle of my field of vision when I'm sitting up normally as I do. That seems like a very BAD THING (tm). Worse, the top edge acts like one of those light absorbing neon clipboards, that shuttles light out to the edge to make it glow. So at night I have this bright glowing line right through the middle of my vision from the light getting reflected off the surrounds from my own headlight.
Very helpful video! I have a 2003 Honda Shadow ACE 750. What windshield would you recommend. My head light is 8" in diameter and I am looking at a 19 or 20" windshield. I am looking at the Memphis Shade windshields. Would you recommend a Fat or Slim?
I purchased a Honda Fury and I use to live on the West Coast where the chopper style motorcycle is what is rode a lot but moving to the South East I see that maybe I need a windshield (as baggers are more popular due to the weather and bugs) but can't find pictures of any on that bike. Any suggestions??
Just bought a 2010 HD Iron 883 for my wife who is 5'1". Looking for a windshield or bat wing/windshield combo but as you know the bike is very narrow. What do you think is the best windshield for this particular bike. Thanks for any help you can provide. Craig
I live in South Georgia, I bought A 2013 Harley Davidson 72 XL1200V Sportster. I want a windshield that will look good on it. Not real wide , I want one that will be good for a passenger to. I want a quick release so I can remove it.

The Tips and Tricks You guys shoot out don't usually apply to RE as a brand, and one has to look out for custom locally available options. Just curious if anyone from your team owns one and could help on that. Cheers!
I just got a Yamaha Virago 1100 and want a shield. I don't like big and bulky and kinda like the bullet design, maybe a little bigger. What suggestions you got for me?

+Pablo A The batwing might diffuse a bit more air compared to a standard windshield. On some models of the batwing you can install a stereo, just one thing to consider.

Cruiser Customizing Video great video but you did not mention sizing the windshield and it's mounting hardware in regards to the width of a motorcycle front fork. Apparently there are a few different sized forks on different models so you need to know the width of your particular fork. My windshield on my bike will not fit my neighbors bike. It's a Harley Davidson quick release with the clamp at 10-1/8" from center to center. Not because of any height or headlight differences but because his forks are more narrow than mine. Please elaborate on this detail since I either missed it in your video or you didn't mention it all. Thanks
