It is just a standard size grease zerk fitting. However, the opening around the fitting is pretty tight. We just did some grinding on the outside edge of our grease gun tip to get it fit into the hole easier.
Yes if your belt has a "burnt" spot, that could cause lurching on take off. If your cart still has the original TEAM clutches they can cause a lot of issues too, and should be updated to the new style clutches.
Yes, if you need to replace your belt, our kevlar belts are the best belts on the market. If you don't have any other engine or clutch modifications done to your machine you likely won't notice much difference in performance over your stock belt, but the kevlar belts do typically last longer. When you start make performance upgrades is when it becomes more important to have a better belt.
There is a difference between your cart "starting" and "cranking over". Once you push the pedal, the engine "cranks over" but it should then fire up and "run". While running you should be able to increase and decrease engine RPMs. So is your engine actually "running" or is it just "cranking over"?
I'm having a hard time figuring out if you have the correct belt. The Drive2 models did not come out until 2017. So if your cart is a 2016 then it is a Drive1. The belt for a Drive1 is J55-G6241-03-00. The belt for a Drive2 Quietech is J0D-G6241-01-00. You need to find out for sure if your cart is a 2016 or 2017, and if it is a Drive2 then you need to know if it is a Quietech or Non-Quietech. Then I recommend you order a heavy duty belt like the ones we sell - powerequipmentman.com/collections/best-sellers/products/yamaha-quietech-premium-drive-belt?variant=40336157278399 It would also be a good idea to inspect your clutches for wear and proper belt alignment.
When the engine is not running, the belt should be centered in the front clutch and straight between the two clutches. It is best to look from the back of the cart, look down the top of the belt and it should be straight and not angled from one clutch to the other.
Just ordered belt and tube up kit from you. Thanks for the great videos. Keep up the work!
We appreciate your business!

What is the grease zerk fitting size on the QuieTech clutch? I can't get onto the zerk. What is the female coupler size please?

Hello! My 2010 Yamaha G29 lurches forward when going from a stop. Could this be attributed to the drive belt being worn down?

If i have a factory 2021 quiet tech will the belt on your website be a good replacement?

Our golf cart starts but will not move. What would cause this?
