Uhgg! Bastards, I'm jealous. 1st of all my fav is WideBody Red1 is super clean and molded perfectly it seems. And the only car other than Lamborghini that looks good in ORANGE 🍊 !
Looks like a great group of people that don`t look down on others who mod their cars even though they might end up being more rare Porsches than 911`s..The shape is way ahead of it`s time I think.
I need to hook up with you all, my 75 with LS 5.3 and Boxster S 6 Speed will be done in the next couple months... well it will never be totally done but will be ready for some road trips...
I HAD THIS AIR CRUISER SINCE TEEN (70’s..) BUT DIDNT BEEF IT UP MUCH.. BEING IT DOESN’T HAVE WINGS..& ONLY GO SO FAST..IN AZ..DESERT THER ARE 75 MPH ALL OVER TRI-STATE ( RURAL..)
Hi John, My white car is the LS car. I run a Porsche 911 turbo trans, 930 4 speed around 1977. There is also a 5 speed that would likely be a better choice. Andrew's is the orange car, he has an Audi1.8t with and Audi trans. There is a transaxle video that he did that gives all the details on that and other transaxles.
Nice video, I’m shopping for a project version and wondering how deep to go. As well as what the best colour and trim will go with my houndstooth / tartan seat desires. ;)
Get the most complete project you can, like all project cars a 2 month build turns into 2-5 years really fast. Regarding color that’s a personal preference.
@@budgetoutlaws9978 two to five years is kind of my goal! This era Porsche is about my skill level and I've been admiring Ian Karr and others who have done at home rebuilds. That said yes the most complete possible is excellent advice.
Andrew, quick question? What v8 motor and trannaxle setup do you recommend for a beginner budget setup for a 914. I'm picking one up real soon and your opinion is valuable. Thank you.
@@budgetoutlaws9978 like 350 Chevy small block which I have already. I was more curious about which Audi 5 speed transaxle I should go with. Please pardon me, I'm a straight nooby at this.
I would say 250 hp, 250 ft lbs for the track, if over that replace intermediate plate with a steel one, my 2.8 puts out over 300 hp and no problems even in the endutos@budgetoutlaws9978
Too bad about butchering them with V8, I will take a 6 cyl Porsche motor any day of the week, motored reliable, track capable and what should be in a 914

Time well spent.

Really is a wonderful group. Been around a lot of car groups but this one stays with me, people are genuine, accepting, and very creative.
I saw that blue car on a trailer northbound I-5 near Olympia a few months ago. Such a beautiful car.
Billy is in Olympia I believe. Absolutely gorgeous car.
I'd like to see how a dual or triple Rotor would do??? LW inside a LW platform
Nice. Getting my 914 right soon. Is this held in Oregon every year?
It’s along the west coast. Www.914world.com and the forum is a great place to see events, this is WCR or West Coast Ramble.

What transaxle are you using?

Where did you guys go? Missing all the great content!!!
West coast, Oregon and California specifically!

Budget setup? What budget are we talking about and what kind of power are we looking for? The answer might not be v8….

Don’t sleep on the standard 901, it’s fine for regular street use for say 300hp
Beyond that check this out
