I started to use the Lucky Tiger more then Vitalis because I believe they thinned out and made Vitalis weaker, had been using it for over 40 years and there is a difference
My favorite hair tonic is Reuzel Grooming Tonic. I also like Vitalis and Jeris. While not a tonic, I still find Brylcreem is my favorite hair product. Light and not greasy.
@@classicalgrooming You outta try Wildroot, much BETTER than Brylcream, I can assure you of that. Just a small application, and you'll love it, as it does indeed smell like talc, a really great scent. You'll love it, I promise you on that. Give it a shot!
Hello. There are 2 versions of this tonic. Mine has "Acqua" as the first ingredient. The other version has "Alcohol" as first ingredient. Could you check yours to see which version you have?
Thanks for the review! I've been looking into getting into hair tonics over the last year or so...what would be your recommendation/favorite hair tonic? I'm 40 years old, but I fancy the nostalgia of what our fathers and grandfather's may have used and I love the classic brands of yesteryear for cologne (just got Royal Copenhagen), aftershaves, shave creams & soaps (i really enjoyed your video on the Arko shave stick and I mirror your thoughts on it👍)
Thanks for the question! I think it really depends why you want to use the hair tonic. Used alone, I think Vitalis is one of the best tonics/hairdressings there is, followed by Lucky Tiger. If your looking for something to help set/style a gel or pomade, just about any of the tonics work well; just pick your favorite scent. If it's scalp conditioning, Osage is nice...I have a few others that I'm looking into.
@@classicalgrooming awesome! Thanks for your suggestions! I've seen Vitalis pop up here and there when looking into hair tonics..so I think I'll give that one a try as a stand alone hair dressing! And I also watched and appreciated your video on Drakkar Noir and am definitely planning on getting that one to get a taste of an 80's classic. Thanks for bringing a lot of these classics back into the light...take care👍
@@classicalgrooming I quite agree. Vitalis is the ONLY BEST hair loation that truly works the very best. It does have a nice scent to it, and there's a lot more advantages to using Vitalis that can be counted, it's that good of a hair loation for your hair. Once a week usages of it along with every other day hair washings is all ya need and it will do excellent for you, your looks, especially for your hair. Vitalis is the very BEST!
@@TravisTraverses Just remember that every other day hair washings along with a once a week application of Vitalis will do well for you. Of course this depends upon your hair type such as how thick it is and other specifics, however, you'll NEVER go wrong using Vitalis hair loation for your hair. It's a very good product, truly is.
@@danbasta3677 Good to know! I have medium coarse, dry hair that could use the treatment and care you suggest... I'll give it a go! Thank you much and take care👍

Vitalis is still a much better hair loation and product.

I haven't tried Reuzel yet, but it's on my list. Brylcreem is great. I used it today! Thanks for contributing to the channel!

Unfortunately, I have used my bottle up and have not replaced it. However, I seem to remember mine having water "Acqua" as the first.
