Thank you for your reaction to the Babymonster! For me, Babymonster is the little sisters of my favorite BlackPink. Both groups are from the same YG company. I strongly advise you guys to watch Last Evaluation and All Introduction Videos and Character Playlists. This way you can get to know Babymonster better.
The production was mainly by Choice37, Robin Cho. You will be happy to know he is actually an American of Korean descent. But YG himself will oversee everything Baby Monster.

K-POP fandoms are loyal and tend to get offended when their group is compared with other groups, which results in negative comments being made about the person that made the comparison and to the groups mentioned in the comparison.
In regards to the XG comparison...
I remember a time, when k-netizens knew YG was making a new girl group and there was no public information about them. During that time period is when XG was in their pre-debut phase.
It was during that time period that k-netizens spotted the members of XG with YGE instructors/trainers and at YGE facilities. It was then discovered that those members were in a group that recently moved to Korea from Japan. All of that caused XG to initially be mis-identified as YG's new girl group created under YG Japan.
YG Entertainment and AVEX Entertainment, a Japanese entertainment company, have a partnership called YG Japan.
AVEX and YG Japan is known to recruit/audition potential Japanese trainees for YG Entertainment.
AVEX created a subsidiary company called XGALX, which manages XG.
This partnersip between YG Entertainment and AVEX added fuel to the fire that classified XG as a new YG girl group.
These speculations were getting so much traction and publicity that both AVEX Entertainment and YG Entertainment released press notices stating XG was not a part of YG Entertainment. YG Entertainment issued two different notices because k-netizens didn't believe the first one due to their mistrust with YG.
The truth is AVEX Entertainment utilized their partnership with YG Entertainment to contract YGE instructors/trainers to provide XG with additional training before they debuted.
What all this rambling means... Because of the partnership between AVEX Entertainment and YG Entertainment, there is a chance that Babymonster and XG could perform together.

Hey y'all! A couple recs...
First, Mirror Mirror - Milli x F.Hero featuring Changbin of Stray Kids (will BLOW you away. Changbin did his entire verse in one take on the first try, and Milli and F.Hero are two amazing Thai rappers)
Second, anything by Jessi, though I'd recommend What Type of X or Who Dat B personally
Third, Eclipse - Moonbyul (Moonbyul has songwriting credits on 100+ songs, making her one of the MOST credited female artists in the history of the Korean music industry.)
Fourth, Arson - JHope (we know you love our boy, and this song killllls!)
Finally, I really hope you'll do more of Stray Kids! The guys write and produce everything themselves and they're amazingly skilled. Recommend Thunderous, God's Menu, Megaverse and Freeze.

Comparison of Asa's rap with Cocona? You kidding? Asa is a rapper of the top drawer quality. Go watch her Jonah Lucas cover, Look Alive. Also watch her Eminem Godzilla cover. Her rap skills are insane.

Im a fan of both and i dont think its an issue beimg compared... for me asa is more immersed on a technical perspective and she is really passionate.. her words are like machine guns and pure.diction too.. cocona's.more raw and more vindictive.. for me asa is a lil ahead by a lil bit.. but i love both BM and XG.. they're fire... :-)

Music videos to have have subtitles.
Dance performance videos to not have subtitles.
Live performance videos to not have subtitles.
You guys reacted to the dance performance video of "Sheesh" and not the music video, which is why the video did not have subtitles.
There is also no single person or group making music videos, it's just how the K-POP industry has evolved.
Each company budgets and makes the music videos for their artists.
If American music companies were willing to contract movie production crews and send millions of dollars on making music videos for their artists, then American music video quality would reach the level of modern-era K-POP.
