You should react to some of their live stuff, bc they truly bring their songs to life when they sing live, making them better than the original recording. They trained for 3-6ish years, which seems to be more and more uncommon these days, but Babymonster shows that despite their ages, they are truly monsters

You should watch Asa's tapes, she covers Joyner Lucas and there's also a short clip of her covering Em's Rap God. She's definitely in the convo for best girl group rapper, but best female K-rapper is hands down Li Young Ji... that is undebatable. Runner-up is probably the female rapper SINCE.

Welcome to the rabbit hole my friend. You're going to LOVE this group. Two of the rappers are extremely talented, one in particular is probably going to end up being the top K-Pop rapper. She's covered Joyner Lucas and Eminem (her technical skills are off the charts) and already received credit for writing and composing her own raps on a previous song of the groups. She's written and produced other shit too. If you dive back into their stuff (it's recommended you start with their oldest videos first: black and white performances, then introducing videos, then last evaluation or the color video performances from them) you'll get to see. But all the girls are extremely talented. Babymonster is the only group I've come across so far where each member is talented enough to debut as a solo artist.

But rap wise she is far far behind asa and ruka especialy asa(the same goes for vocal ahyeon is ahead) if you know nothing about rap(idk about how much you listen to western rap) you can pretty much see it by how this guys and all the others rapper/rap lovers reacted to babymonster content.

The rapper that went off is Asa, who's Japanese. These ladies are super talented. They have 4 main vocalists(2 Thai and 2 Korean), 2 rappers (both Japanese), and 1 all-rounder(Korean). Their pre-debut solo performance videos are incredible. There is some disappointed because YG is just using the same beats and formula from Blackpink and these ladies can do so much more. Their tracks "Like That" and "Stuck in the middle" are far better songs highlighting their talents. Girl groups have been seriously crushing it the last year and in the foreseeable future.

They are very new girl group debut in 2023. 7 members. 2 from Japan(Asa & Ruka), 2 from Thailand(Chiquita & Pharita), and 3 Koreans(Ahyeon, Rami &Rora). If you want to go down the rabbit hole I suggest watching their youtube series of training to get in the group, I was honestly blown away by their talents especially at such a young age. I do have my reservation on them just cause I don't want YG to make another blacpink i want them to have their own image cause they are so talented. But rocking with XG at the moment cause it just hits different.

You'll love them even more once you start watching all their recent guestings, where they are singing live. Also, there are issues in Korea right now where the other girl groups from different agencies cannot sing live. So what YG did, they took advantage of the situation and let the girls sing live on different shows. The Babymonster channel released a video titled "G-Park Radio Show BEHIND" where they said "Sheesh Pure Live performance 100%". It is definitely a pure performance since you can hear how their voices really sound without the mic's echo inside the radio station. Like when you are recording, you can hear your voice through the headset but without it, it'll just be your pure voice without filters. I love how YG is trying to defend the girls from other group's fans just by flexing their talent and not saying anything else. It's like saying, "We don't need to say anything. Just watch us live and let our talent speak for itself". haha ❤😍
