Thank you for this! I always enjoy your channel and as I’m just getting into ambient looping myself I’ve found this video particularly resourceful.
    Danke

@@thevaliant_music Thanks and yeah, Fable is such a fun thing tweaking knobs and than getting lost in its soundscapes!

I just could not gel with the Gen Loss Mk 2. I gave it a good 6 months. I only liked it with lots of delay and reverb. I wanted more control of the modulation, it just didnt feel right too me. If I played more keys I might have kept it.

@@masterofreality230 6 month are a good amount of time to be sure it's not for you. I know what you mean with not having enough control about the modulation. I find out that the modulation is different in classic mode to the mkll version. It feels more controlled in mkll and doesn't get crazy worbly that quick.
Have you ever tried Ribbons? It seems more controllable, but it's hard to get one.

@@Andreas_tropicalwinter Yea, I have heard of Ribbons, it looks great. So does the Shallow Water. When I sold the Gen Loss, I got a Deco v2 and I LOVE that pedal. Still have an itch for lo fi. Maybe a good analog delay is what I need.

@@masterofreality230 A good analog sounding Delay could be enough is what I thought hearing the Thermae again. Instant buy if it had stereo. The Shallow Water is also something pretty interesting to try for sure!

@@Andreas_tropicalwinter The one I really want is the EAE Sending, but $600 is a LOT of money! Those two are also great devices from the demo's I have heard, havent owned either.

@@masterofreality230 Yes, the Sending is really expensive. I thought about getting myself an ElCapistan one day to try. I heard nothing bad about it...
