Ordinarily I would baulk at a 48 min video. But when it has Geoffery Croker’s name to it, you know it won’t be long enough. Absolutely superb and better than anything you’ll get on “pay TV”.
You're lucky they shipped your exhaust pipes in a box. I ordered full exhaust for my S3 from UK and they shipped to Kenya as bare pipes with a shipping label taped on. Luckily they arrived unscathed. But fumbling around in my gravel driveway to install them I managed to get a piece of gravel in the pipe and now I have a lovely jingle every time I start up the Landy.
Project Binky ain't got nothing on Aaron Cake who has been working on his Mazda Cosmo in Canada for about 12 years now. I don't know if I'm allowed to point this out, but just soldering a new larger OD end on the vacuum pipe, without adding the extension, would have allowerd you to use "any old hose" instead of a 40 year old NOS part. It's great to see it running!
Totally agree on Emberton (and in the UK, they are also on eBay as well) - Great to see the next video up, Sooooo many tips to be had for my next project (1983 Series III 109) - looking forward to the next one.

If you plug in and out the Makita battery several times on the charger you can change the jingle that plays at end of charge. One of the jingle slots is blank so you can turn it off. There is even a Für Elise and others, lol.

The annual video drops! Awesome!!!! By the way my ex military defender came with a painted diff cover for silent convoy mode, the light underneath then lit something up for the driver behind to follow.
When you started the engine @ 47:25, I saw that one of the rubber hoses (near the Carb, down & to the left) would slowly move when you gave it some gas. Just in case you missed it. All that being said, I have loved watching this project come together of the last couple years (and channels lol), and I cannot wait to see this beauty driving around. Ur an absolute legend mate

I put a new old stock oil pan on my 1950 Chev 6cyd. It had a pin hole that was paint over, I did not see this, and 10 miles into my first drive it let loose. So new pan will come off and get repaired. Lucky me. Thank you for the contact
Started with your video after 5 minutes of release... Completed it after 10 hours .. turns out I had better things to do but I found some time here and there to watch a guy tinker with his landrover whom I joined to watch some lathe restoration... Life i guess

Currently my dads 1983 110 v8 county is being comletely restored. I have followed this series since the beginning and reccomended the series to my dad a few years back i'm pretty sure its's the reason ours is getting restored. Absolutely love your video's btw, keep it up!!

Makita chargers is the best. You can change the sound. Just take the battery out and in and you get new songs or just a "piip" I occasionally change the songs randomly on construction sites. So when the people come in and charge during lunch, there is a commotion when all the batteries are fully charged.

Great watch. Btw you can change the melody or make the Makita charger silent by putting in a charged battery and removing it within five seconds then out battery in again. Keep doing this until you get the desired noise.

You can change the Makita charger melody. Just out a battery in it, and then snap it off and immediately back onto it, and the next melody is chosen. I love your videos btw.

My PCV valve was always bolted to the intake manifold, now I know where it should go. Cheers for that Geoff
