omg it's just so easy, you know the air hockey tables?
it's essentially the same, just cheaper, bigger and you can fly on it!!!!
it also generates a surplus of air (because it's compressed on-site and compressed air fits more air into a space of air than uncompressed air) and energy (by using the release of air to power a rotor which is connected to a generator) AAAAAAANNNDDD its a solution to global warming... when AIR decompresses, it gets cool (just like your fridge at home works!!) and that'll contradict global warming!!!!
WE CAN USE CARBON DIOXIDE FROM THE ATHMOSPHERE to create air-plastic cylinders.
      AANNNDD
Because the decompression also cools the air-plastic-cylinder material, FREE WATER condenses on them, it drops down into a shaft and is collected and driven to areas with bad infrastructure and water supplies.
      WIN WIN for EVERYONE!
I'm currently collecting money on kickstarter.
Our Goal is 900.000$ and we're currently at 160.000.000$, join our supporters to be one of the first people to have a compressed air roadway on his HOME STREET!

I'm not a physicist, I'm mechanic and this idea of installing a this type of thruster to a vehicle is the most inefficient, ineffective, irregular and pointless way to spend the resources.
With my more than 20 years of experience as a mechanic, I've seen a lot of bullshit, some of them was ok but a lot's of them was like this. Even I was in that stadium like him when I was starting
to learn, let's say "imagining" things, but thinking as a mechanic, I was always put things 1st on the paper taking all conditions in concern, after that I decide is it worth it or not.
With orbital mechanics I was start to understanding it after a 10 years of studying of it, and even now sometimes I need a good proof or calculation to conclude or solve a problem.
But this, it's totally waste of money if you ask me, specially with knowledge people have now in this century.

My father worked in construction his whole adult life and had many stories about oxygen, acetylene and other gas bottles having the valve stem knocked off and the bottle takes off, scooting at ground level and going through anything in its way. Concrete walls, no problem, didn’t even slow them down.
The funniest story concerning gas bottles was one that was being unloaded from a truck and somehow got flipped 180° and the valve got sheered off and it was perfectly upside down. He said it took off like a rocket, straight in the air. All the men stood around watching it fly until it was just a small dot in the sky.
There was a delayed reaction when it suddenly occurred to everyone that the steel tank had to come down somewhere. My father said it got real quiet as the bottle climbed up in the atmosphere, then, it dawned on everyone at the exact same time and everyone’s head whipped back and forth looking for a safe cover. All of the men took off scampering in different directions to find something with a roof.
The visual image in my head when I heard that story was like a cartoon. It was like something out of a comedy sketch where the bottle launches and everyone just standing, watching it disappear in the sky, so there is a few seconds of silence and then suddenly they all look around, with their heads whipping around simultaneously, and then they all dart to find cover.
To be funny, they would all have to realize at the exact same time that the bottle must come down. Falling from such a height, that bottle, even empty, would kill whoever it landed on. Thankfully, no one was hurt, so everyone just gained a funny story and lost nothing living it.

Not only is it LOUD AS SIN and can be unwieldy to work with, since pressurizing can take some time, it is so unbelievably terrifying. It's unseeable and a tiny rupture can actually cut you in two, assuming the whole damn thing doesn't explode. Like you said, 6 bar alone is enough to send people flying. You'd have to use a LOT more than 6 bar for something like this.

There are some factors to consider - like the fact that the cooling "problem" is actually beneficial if it's used to cool the batteries (and that heat furthers the expansion).
Still not practical, but if you're using pressurized gas for a cooling system, then some components would be on the car anyway.
Further, considering how much F1 teams would love to use engine exhaust to accelerate the air under their car to create more downforce - consider what pressurized air could do. If you want more grip, but don't want the massive drag from wings like F1 uses, then this is one the ways to get it. If you absolutely want to set track speed records, the extra downforce might overcome the extra weight.
But it's still probably far better and easier to use a fan - which could also be used to provide the battery cooling. That's the sensible and conventional way to cool a car.

Hay Thunderf00t, you are doing something very dangerous. You are storing a compressed gas cylinder in an upright position without its safety cap on or some sort of restraint to keep it from falling over if bumped. Without the safety cap, the bronze valve body can shear off and the valve will go in one direction, and the cylinder will go in another direction, (both very fast). If either of them hit you, you will probably stain serious damage to your person. And lifting the cylinder without first installing its safety cap is a big NO-NO. In this video for example the parts with safety of rocket engines, probably more but I didn't watch it fully. He just explains how it is bad, leaving out the part where they described how spacex solved the problem. He has made at least two videos about how bad elons ideas are which came to be a reality by now.
Use the mindset of oh I wonder how they are going to do that instead of what tunderfoot does. A hyperloop for example, maybe a crazy idea with way too many unsolved problems, I'm still curious on how they are going to tackle them or maybe fail to do so but I don't have to spread my bad opinion about that. Probably these engineers are even aware of these problems and are trying to figure out how the can solve them.

But It doesn't exempt him from having crazy or unfeasible ideas like many other milion dollar projects that have been debunked in this channel. The aerodynamic shape of the car plus the acceleration of the electric motors plus cold gas thrusters that point towards the back in a slight angle to the ground function more like JATOs (jet-assisted take-off) to do small hops or even faster acceleration when flowing over small wings under the car.
