Good morning everyone! I hope you like this series. 🤗 It may not be every Wednesday because I don’t wear or buy wigs as much as I used to. I prefer natural hair or braids these days, but I still like wigs too! Good luck with the job leads, all of these leads have their perks. 🤗
I literally ordered a wig before I saw your video. Interview on Monday and my hair has always been a concern. Your video is a good omen with the timing. Plus I tried a bang for the first time🙌🏾
@@lovelylasean I do! I haven't had bangs since I was 12 but I'm liking them again. Now that hair is taken care of, I need to practice for this interview. I have never done well on interviews just like some people say they don't test well. I'd rather have the not testing well problem honestly.
This video was a hit in every way! Great, fabulous concept! Outstanding presentation, thank you! Side note, about the "echo", simple solution for the fix: props and materials to absorb the sound. The sound is bouncing off the walls, the ceiling and off the floor, becuz you have got a lot of clear space within the space (mostly free of clutter, not too much furniture, or mobile items) you are recording in; the walls, ceiling and floor are smooth surfaces - so the sound waves slide off, rather than integrate / penetrate into them. What will help is: (windows) drapes or blinds; (floors) carpet or rugs; any type of material on the walls to pad the walls (even tapestries or very light wall carpeting), padding under and/or above the door - to seal (keep out) or buffer (pad or insulate) the sound, so it is contained within the room and is more evenly distributed, rather than to just be bouncing all over the place, over every free, empty, available surface within the room / space ( Basically, materials, props that will not only absorb the sound more, but also create some "resistance" for the sound waves to have to get past, ie to trap the sound, rather than to channel it on to some other spot, round and round, within the room. Goes without saying, but the reminder might also surprise that: clean surfaces are the easiest / quickest to get sound to echo. The squeakier the clean, the more pronounced the echo! So here's to ALL your subscribers knowing and celebrating just how clean your space always is! 😏. Dirt will actually create a dulling effect and the sound will have to fight through, or past it. Reading this back, I explained all this so clearly and so well and it all makes so much sense, one would think I am some installation tech! My Uncle would be proud of me. He is the Sound Engineer in the family, actually, and I learnt all of these types of things just watching him throw himself so wholeheartedly and so passionately into every aspect of his work. He is one of my role models and thanks to him, we can all learn something. Go BFM!♥️ And regarding this channel and recording these videos in this space where there seems to always be an echo, there are always more expensive, more sophisticated props and professional "fixes" to resolve this type of situation. There are literally machines, devices and fixtures to install and to use to resolve all these types of sound and video production dilemmas and issue. But the ones I mentioned (thanks to my Uncle's influence and expertise) are quicker fixes, more accessible, more practical and ideas you could just as well make work for you, if you do it right. Hope this gives you options and ideas. Good luck to you and THANK YOU, as always, for the unique, very "doable" job leads! Looking forward to your next Wednesday video, whenever you can manage to put one together!👋👋👋
Hi, I just found you! I was a teacher in the past and now substitute so I am applying for the online scoring. I checked to see what other videos you had and found this! I don’t wear wigs but it was interesting to watch this. The wig looks really cute on you!! I will be applying for part time jobs and online scoring today!
Good morning! Thank you so much! You may not be able to apply for scoring until January, I think they closed the app for now, but if you can apply now and be get on for the next season, that would be great. 🤗
Nice. Now that I cut my hair and letting the sides grow so I’m going through that rough phase. Do you have tips on washing them, etc? I like it now that you flat ironed it.

Wow, thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense. 🙌🏾 I appreciate you.
Also can get some foam squares and put them on the walls to help with echo like they do in sound booths

Hey Sonya! Thank you! I use the Aussie volume shampoo and conditioner for wigs. To me it’s the best, it keeps them soft. I also let my wigs air dry.
