in this video i show you guys a day in my life working my new 9-5 work from home job :) it was my first day of training... and the beginning of the day started off a little hectic!
this is a work from home customer service job, btw. and yes, it is phone based.

I may be late but you can get a docking station that has an ethernet port so you can use your computer.
First couple days of training is always so annoying lol. I'm in my second week and some people are still having tech issues but they did supply us with the equipment so I think that's why. I actually went out and purchased a gaming headset lol. Mine are pink tho so they're more girly but way more comfortable than the ones they sent! They're over the ear ones so it's veryyyyyy comfortable! But you got this! Once all the tech stuff is figured out and you're actually training it'll be much better
yeah my other WFH job supplied us with the equipment but this job did not! LOL and the headphones were comfy i just thought they looked so crazy on me so i bought my own haha most of the tech stuff is out of the way now tho thanks for your comment and i hope your WFH experience will be a good one!

Did they pay you for training ?I just got hired today and I also have a Mac book but they never mention what brand computer and how long was your training did you learn or trained about the software you have to use ??

hi! thanks for watching 😊 working from home is really nice, depending on what job it is. the customer service jobs i’ve had were mostly day shifts but i’m sure some positions will offer nights! i am no longer doing this position tho, i find call centers to be very demanding and stressful. i’ve had a data entry job that was more flexible and less stressful so it just depends on the job. hope this helps!

hii! thanks so much for watching! i hated this position, LOL i would never recommend an inbound call center. different things are for different people so I can only speak on my experience. The calls are non stop and to me personally, it’s anxiety inducing. It sucks because most WFH jobs online these days that you can start quickly are call center jobs! I don’t mind the customer experience part (on some days, but some people are nasty, just depends) but the call center for me is a no. I’ve done 2 different companies and did not enjoy. Hope this helps a little! I am no longer working here btw!

I am currently an early years teacher for a preschool/ kindergarten… but just feel like I’ve lost the passion , there’s a huge lack of appreciation and pay for the education/ care sector. It’s truly SO stressful and a lot of pressure, and I’m just ready for a bit of a stress-free ish life, with not much pressure. Anxiety for me is at a high since the pandemic, and I believe a working from home role would suit my lifestyle and mental well-being quite well. I work well on my own, and enjoy speaking to customers. I just need to find something to suit me in the UK. Do you mind me asking what role you are currently doing please? And yes, I have found lots of the jobs are call centres. I did find one for a clothing store, and thought this would be stress-free, easy,, but unsure now?
@@Jess_387 you’re welcome!! right now i am no longer working from home. i have applied to more position in the data entry space, because i find this type of work is more easy going. i haven’t heard back yet. i am most likely starting a new job that is not work from home soon. i’m going to keep trying to find a better fit for me as well! hoping to end up working from home again soon! good luck to you! 💕

Yeah it was low for me as well. As a creator myself if the volume has to be at max just to hear more clearly then the audio of the footage is low. The next video started playing and blasted my ear drums 😅. Can’t wait for more wfh content 💕

thank you! it’s from Target if you go to their glass wear aisle (at least my Target) look around the mug area which is usually by the tumbler/reusable cups! it was like $8 ☺️
