- This Inspiron was back in 2006 a very powerful machine for office work and heavy gaming, Who knew only one upgrade can turn an old slow PC into a gaming machine capable of gaming at 1080p.

Gonna use this PC just to have a sleeper case, gonna save all the components somewhere if I ever need to use them

Since you have the DG33M03 Motherboard you can upgrade the CPU to a QUAD Core Xeon X3370 or Intel Core 2 Quad Q9650

Wait I don’t get it. I have the same exact same pc, but my dad got it in 2007 with windows vista, then windows 7 then windows 8, then 10, two days ago downgraded to windows 7, because windows 10 was acting like an ass and win 8 was forcing me for a product key. Here’s something I don’t get, when my pc was a windows 8 me and my sister got games, but they were super laggy, do you know what the problem was? Also nice video of your pc!

Hey Steve I bought this pc to specifically play gta 5 lpsdfr will I have any issues with this graphics card? Or should I get a better one?
The card won't really be an issue, it comes down to the older cpu and slower ram holding the system back, at least have 8gb of ram if you can and a q6600 at least. These systems are starting to show their age in modern games but it still can gta 5
Damn when I tried to install gtx 1050 into mine with e8600 and windows 10 it wouldnt work. Tried everything.
Eventually ended up putting in dq57tm motherboard and x3470 cpu that I got cheap off ebay to be able to get gtx 1050 going.
Thought it was old ass motherboard and bios issue but now I wonder what I missed since you got er going.
Awesome video, maybe you could make a new video with the same specs but with the electric tape mod on the cpu, i think you already know what i mean
I've tried it before, it made the CPU faster by 15%, but i don't have any electrical tape unfortunately. But I'll keep that idea in mind for a video in the future
How did you install the drivers for the 1050ti. Everytime I do it tell me its not compatible with the system.
Did you install the software that comes with the graphics card first? Or did you just skip that and slot in the graphics card without any software install??? Is it necessary to install software disc from graphics card? Because it did not work for me but I didn't load the software disc that comes with the 1050 ti card. Could that be the problem?? Also, I tried with your exact same card.

Steven Reviews Why? I tried just slotting in and powering up but all I get is my blue HP (my PC is an hp) start up screen with the logo and a few beeps. That's it. It just freezes on that screen. It reads the card but I can't get past start up menu screen. Won't installing the CD software help?? Maybe it needs those drivers in CD?

Honestly card prices are really high atm, I would recommend looking around facebook market place or Craigslist and try and find a good deal

But anything above I would rather just get a pre build system.what do you recommend with that price range ? Also I meant to say if the original GTX would work just as fine as the Mini , I notice you used the GTX 1050 TI mini . Would the regular GTX 1050 TI work as fine as the mini or do you recommend getting the Mini ?

Oh hi, I know its been sometime but I was actually completely new to PC so instead of using this PC for upgrading I ended up making my own Low-profile PC and this one at least helped me installed Windows 10. It was a lot of twist and turns, and it sometimes gives me a headache with learning the parts but I manage to make my PC for around $330 and I am so proud of it and I think I could only get better at making PC. Thanks for your attempt to help me, maybe I look forward to upgrading it one day as a project.

Well I did add one Its a Asus Nvidia GT 1030 GDDR5. It seems to get the job well for me.
I have this and it beeps 4 times on startup. No display on the monitor either

@@AGuyNamedSteve1 I got it to work, in order for steam to work I would have to download windows 10 to run steam. I tried to move the pictures and documents to a different computer using a usb. The computer wouldn't let me move them at all. And the USB wouldn't copy them onto it because of "write protection" so.... I just gave up because there was no hope for it anymore

Yes! I would highly recommend it these stock dell power supplies are getting pretty up there in age and can take the whole pc out when they die

Yes but it might create a bottleneck because that would be the fastest component in the system, try a older card with gddr5 ram, Your PC is only as fast as its slowest part.

Mohamed Arthil it's called GDDR5 and yes you can use that type of card. And it was the 730, but that would not play games well paired with yoyr core 2 quad. Which model core 2 quad do u have?

Mohamed Arthil your best option would have to the this card, the gtx 1050 is only a little slower than the card shown in this video and it's only $114.99 A truly solid card for the money. My advice to you is don't buy one of the gt730 710 730 ect. They are quite expensive and the price to performance isn't too great.

We first got it in 2007.But I don't have an air compression can. I only have a swiffer dusting thingy. -_- I'm just gonna look around the house for an air compression canister.
