This is what the R3 riders ultimately wanted. Now I have to shift to Kawasaki for doing something none of the big 4 have ever done. Nice work Kawasaki 🤘
In the 80's and 90's there were several models made by various Japanes companies that used a very high revving 4 cyl motor with very small displacement, ranging from 250 to 400
1975 honda 400 four super sport had one Yoshimura 4 into one oh they have done it for decades, finally getting back to smaller 4s😅
Small CC inline 4s do exist. They just don't exist here in the states, hardly any of them here today

@@RT22-pb2pp yeah. I just think small bore inline 4s barely exist now due to emissions requirements and stuff. I knew bikes like the Yamaha XJR400, similar to the VFR400? I believe? Got discontinued due to emission requirements

I'm not sure what combo y'all are using to record on but whatever it is DONT CHANGE IT! I'm watching this on my 70'' Samsung TV with surround sound and the clarity is up there with watching live GP races! Crisp and clean! Sick exhaust video and I really want one of these 400cc in line 4cylinders that have been extinct for the past 20+yrs.

This bike is already being used by many at my local track, perfect bike to improve your skills and it gains plenty of power once you tune it (85hp/45nm) But they are not cheap for a 400cc

Damn that sounds better than the 636 I had !!!! I rode plenty bikes!! 600s, 1000s and I’ve found that I’ve had more fun on smaller cc bikes!!! Yeah widing out the throttle going 180 in a straight line is cool! But I love the fun I’ve had on 400s, 650s and such! So I’m planning on getting a 400 as my Main Street bike!!! Maybe…. Just maybe a ninja 650 krt! We shall see!
Get a naked bike (Z models are great)
Cant beat displacement in sound depth. Capacity sounds better. Litter bikes fire fireblades out. Cant compare any litter with this. GSX-R especially with full yoshimura. Symphony

Yeah you kinda need to reveal your mic setup because is is pure heaven quality..
Its not the setup that is magic because we use a simple Rode shotgun for these clips. What is the magic is our videographers' skill. A tool is only as good as the user. And our guys are highly skilled at this

What's the wobbly sound coming from the exhaust when the RPM's settle back down after a rev? You can hear it at 0:43 for example. Is that something inherent to the engine? Air from the AIS? Does it only come out on full systems? Just curious if anyone knows what causes it!

Best sounding modern bike period. Throaty but not raspy no popping crap just sweet. Have not been impressed with a bikes sound since 80s inline air cooled fours.

Anytime you install a full exhaust system you should get your ECU reflashed.

Are my ears deceiving me or is that engine spinning up more mass than a 636 somehow? Seems to rev considerably slower particularly in neutral. Do you hear that too? Any fixes?

I actually love this bike, shame you can get more piece of kit that is 5 years old for the same price
I think Kawi was making a statement with this bike and priced it so they would actually make some money in this economy. But as you said, for about the same price you can have a slightly older race package ready to go. I do think that the high revving 400 is worth checking out. I believe it will be more of a culty bike, with people throwing the kitchen sink at this toy, getting it in SB mod territory.
When will the exhaust be available to purchase?

We are selling ours. It has two track days on it and some dyno sessions. I believe the price is 1300 plus shipping.

Maybe you read only the questions and not the answers we provided. We typically don't ignore people asking questions. Pete over at Street Customs in Clearwater FL has these exhausts for sale. We will be selling ours real soon too if you are ok with a slightly used one.
