- Hey y'all! I'm excited to have partnered with Exo Terra to try out and review some of their new Frogs & Co products they generously sent me. After the enclosure has settled in for a few weeks and the springtail population is really booming, I will upload a video releasing the little beasts in their new home! I hope y'all enjoy!

This enclosure turned out great. The curved vinyl edge was a great tip. Also, thanks for giving a really clear view of the drylok and the whole process. I was on the fence about it before, but definitely something I’m considering using now.

Nicely done !! I like these exo terra frog tanks. Think about using one for the next build. They should offer a third version, that offers more space at the bottom.

what you use for heating your terra?
I thought moss wasnt the best for dart frogs. From what ive been told anyways. Id love to be able to use it!
How do you know when the lamp is turning on and off in a scheduale?
Or do you have to turn it on and off every day?
I love it. I just built my first bioactive for a crested gecko but it doesn't look this nice lol.

How are you liking the tank three months later? I don’t like the ventilation on these new tanks and prefer the old ones with a glass insert or Saran Wrap on the rear screen.
I personally don't mind the ventilation, but there are definitely a few things I'd like to see changed. My biggest issues thus far are how often the glass panel on the lid comes in broken and that the plastic in front of the glass tends to sag.
Do the plants grow in there are they actually planted or do you switch them out every so often

I grow them myself. I originally got them from a small local nursery though. I recommend looking for mom & pop tropical nurseries in your area or checking Etsy!
does the light have a rolling clouds effect and sunrise and sunset like the fluval aqua sky ?

I was wondering if this tank could be used for a created gecko ? I haven’t seen any information about it being used for one and I was planning to do a bio active setup for my cresties .
Of course it is. But use the tree frog version because it's higher.
Wish I could find someplace to buy these terrariums! I’m in New Jersey and I can’t find them anywhere! And places that have them in other states won’t ship them! 😩
Oh no! I'm sorry to hear that. My friend, Idris Brown, owns Tincman Herps and is in NJ. I'm not sure if he carries these tanks, but he may be able to direct you to someone who does in the state.

Great for those that get things for free, but there are better alternatives for those that do not.

I wouldn't say ANYTHING is 100% fruit fly safe, but these are definitely better than standard terrariums!
Is that exo terra light come with the tank or is it extra
The light does not come with the tank, but it is designed to work perfectly with the new Frogs & Co tanks.
where do you get the MOSS from??
I have different sources for different mosses, but for a lot of what I used in this build, I get from the link below. Just make sure and quarantine it for any hitchhikers before placing in an enclosure. www.etsy.com/listing/924831031/fresh-sustainably-harvested-mosses-from?ref=hp_rv-2
