I’m surprised by how many people said California is the most beautiful state. Im not complaining. Cali is absolutely gorgeous. But I expected Hawaii and even Alaska to get more mentions
The plains and prairies are an acquired taste. They're my favorite biome. If you take a closer look and take it in you may appreciate them more. Beauty in landscapes is not limited to trees and mountains.
I have been up to at least 10 different states, although I believe that Hawaii would take the cake for me, but my close second would be Kansas because of all the sunsets and sunrises that can easily be seen throughout the state
It’s clearly Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, Arizona, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Oregon, California, Utah, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania. And the Carolinas, Upper part of Michigan. And I live in Minnesota so I’m not biased
I agree that Alaska, Hawaii, California, Florida, Arizona, and Maine are all beautiful! Haven't been to the other states you mention, though. (I live in NH.)
She's right. It's called The Natural State due to how beautiful and varied it is. It, unlike Alaska though, isn't known so you gotta visit it to see. It's way more than you think.
Lil Nas X its not that, its just that mountains in arkansas are like 3000 feet while mountains in alaska are like 20000. so yeah theyre hills compared to alaska’s
Lil Nas X I know they are mountains, but they are still really small compared to our Alaskan range. Or definitely Denali. Tallest above sea level base to point.
As someone who has been to every state, I love Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, California, Oregon, Arizona, Hawaii, Alaska. I guess I really just love the West
Matthew Peters Respectable, but however their not in the West I still think you should consider Florida and WV on that list. Especially WV as I've never been but have seen pictures and heard awesome things with its beautiful scenery and lovely trails it deserves to rank high on any list.
Zion that is also anchorage. And anchorage has glaciers to the north and south breathtaking suburbs like Girdwood, very beautiful, Cook Inlet to the west and the chugach mountains to the East. Anchorage is the worst city in Alaska, but breathtaking.
As someone who lives in California and loves the state for its variety in terms of environment (beaches, forest, desert), when the NC guy started talking about Oregon I had to agree! Not sure if I would choose it over Cali but I was blown away at how beautiful Oregon was when I went there this summer. Expected to love Seattle more, but to my surprise I LOVED Portland and the Oregon coast (nothing like the forest that ends at a cliff and the beach is on the other side! Road tripped down that road when heading back down south and it was beautiful!!!). If I couldn’t live in Cali my next place would 100% be Oregon if I could choose it!
I live in Vermont, and definitely agree with the VT girl. There's a level of color difference you can tell in the different states. You just need to live somewhere long enough to notice.
Justin Kelly Really? My cousins lived in Vermont for several years and I never saw anything amazing up there, even when we went on a hike in the late summer afternoons. And I lived in both NJ and Mass. It looks the same.
Alice Lafler-Austern it’s desert mixed with snow depends on where you go :) northern is snowy but also really hot in summer and southern is just hot, we have a ton of National parks and then lakes and stuff like Zions, Arches, Bryce, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and then lake Powell and stuff :) I really like my state’s landscape ngl
I haven't been to every state but my heart is in Colorado for the vibes and natural beauty of mountains. Lived there briefly. Would love to visit more states!
When the South Dakota women said Massachusetts I was so happy!😁 Alot of the New England states are alot alike, but Massachusetts has so much history. They have the Cape and the Berkshires(mountains ranges). It does have alot to offer. Not alot of people think Massachusetts would be the prettiest, but it should be in at least the top 10.
Florida really is diverse in its scenery, we obviously have the beaches, but when you’re driving down I-75 or I-4 and seeing the citrus and strawberry fields it’s beautiful as well as our national, state, and local parks. The sunsets are legendary especially in key west (and the fact that the sky is always blue and not that cloudy).
WYOMING BRUH! I am a Californian and I don't understand why people have forgotten about Yellowstone. It's absolutely stunning. My top 5 are definitely Wyoming, California, Arizona, Alaska, and Hawaii.
Hawaii is beautiful, the most beautiful state imo but I also like West Virginia, Florida, and New Hampshire. I’m glad NY got mentioned, we have many beautiful things like Niagara Falls, the Adirondacks, Lake George, Montauk, Fire Island, Central Park, and Sleepy Hollow (where I grew up)
Megan Loves China There’s an American side too. Horseshoe Falls section is in Canada but the American Falls is in NY. There are two Niagara Falls cities in NY and Canada. Nice try
I was born in NY and now live in NH. Unfortunately I don't remember much of upstate NY because I was so young when I lived there, but every now and then I like visiting NYC.
I have to agree that when you think of beautiful and unique landscapes, Hawaii and Alaska are tied for most beautiful, but when it comes to the all over beauty and variety, you can't beat California.
I've visited almost every state in the U.S, but Alaska is breathtaking on another level. We have mountains, glaciers, volcanoes, ocean, lakes, rivers, valleys, rainforests, plains, the northern lights, 24 hour sun in the summer, and the best air and water in the country, ect. Plus outside right now, the fog has crystallized onto the trees, so it looks like they are covered in diamonds, and when the sun shines through it, it is stunning.
Kentucky is low key gorgeous and doesn’t get enough attention. The rolling hills and blue grass are so pretty and I’ve been all over the country and nothing compares.

Washington state has mountains, glaciers, evergreens, fields, snow, rain, desert sands, bug cities, rural land, beaches, ghost towns, and pretty much everything you could ever want in a state.

Utah has some of the most diverse geography in country. We have some of the most beautiful sprawling mountain ranges, canyons, and forests full of pine trees, quakies, maple trees, etc. We have the West Desert and the salt flats. Go down to the Southeast portion of the state and you’ll find Escalante, Capitol Reef, Goblin Valley, Moab, Monument Valley. Go to St George and you’ll find Zions Park. And we have tons of lakes and reservoirs to boat, fish, and swim in. This isn’t even mentioning everything you can see and do here during the winter.
This is probably my favorite of these videos yet. It's cool to see them love their own state, and it's also cool to see them speak well of other states.
If we’re talking scenery then it’s got to be California; A beautiful coastline to the west, the Sierra Nevada mountain range (particularly Yosemite) to the east, a vast desert down south, the redwood/sequoia forests that span across the entire north, etc. It really does have quite a bit of everything
Amtrak Productions I loveee Florida. They have the most fun over there! And you are always close to something. If you are south, you are close to Miami. If you are up north you are close to the them parks. I honestly believe it’s just so so beautiful. All the cultures there make it better!
skittle bean What about Connecticut? Our state is beautiful too. But I know what you mean Utah has a lot of nice scenic views so I see why you would pick Utah.
Also Arizona is actually pretty beautiful. There are forests all around the Grand Canyon that are stunning, and not to mention the canyon itself? Also noteworthy mention: the mountains! And the saguaro cacti!
Nah I live in NC, Hawaii is beautiful imo But anywhere in the west that isn’t super inhabited and any states with nice national parks (like Yosemite) would get beauty points imo.
Yasss RI girl!!! Rhode Island is such an underrated state. If you know where to go, Rhode Island has some beautiful spots. Ocean views (like The Cliff Walk), old architecture and mansions, even the urban parts are artsy!
i went to alaska last summer and in my opinion, it’s the most beautiful state in the country. the mountains are breathtaking and the moose are everywhere. i highly recommend going if you can afford it.
Im a californian and i believe the most beautiful states are alaska, Oregon, Colorado, maine, Hawaii, new Hampshire, California, Florida, new york and vermont. Reasons may include nature, people, history, and buildings.
As a Texan I say Oregon is the most breathtaking state we have in this country. The coastline is easily the best And underrated out of either east and west coast. I know I’ve been to every state on both coasts.
As someone who's been to a lot of these states I am honestly surprised that no one said Tennessee, IMO Hawaii, Tennessee and Oregon are the Top3 with Florida and Maine honourable mentions
We have tons of wilderness and it snows more in the California mountains than anywhere else in the country. In Southern California, you can go snow skiing and just an hour or so away, you can jump into a swimming pool.
The Oregon/ Washington border has breathtaking views of rivers, cliffs and waterfalls and of course all the Volcanos nearby ( Mt. St. Helens, Mt. Hood, Mt. Rainer, etc)
I'm honestly going to say its straight up Washington. Well, at least the west coast.. I mean its called the Evergreen state for a reason with its endless trees. And its split right in half, making a diverse location with greens and snow on the left, and desert on the right. There are even volcanos!
As a Californian while I do think this state is beautiful I wouldn't say it's the most beautiful. Coolest yeah, awesome cities and like that one dude said we have like nearly everything biome wise, but Alaska does it's one thing really really well. Oregon's also not half bad.
Maine has the mountains in the west, Acadia np, thousands of miles of coastline, thousands of islands, Baxter State Park, beautiful lakes, and is the most forested state in the US. Pretty unbeatable imo.
I have been to Vermont twice and it is very beautiful there very underrated state and Maine does also look very beautiful as well but I have never been there
Honestly, I'm sad no one picked Iowa, but I get it. Endless fields of corn, beans, and pastures just aren't some people's things. Iowa can be really pretty in a serene calming kind of way though. It's like the place where you can find a nice tree out in the middle of nowhere and read your favorite book.
Iowa does have the Loess Hills and the Driftless Area (Most of which is in Wisconsion, though), and even caves but most of the state is hilly cornfields at best.
I've lived in California, Florida, and currently Texas. Florida is pretty to visit but it gets old when it's hot and sticky in the winter. Texas has amazing sky views, but otherwise it's just ok. California is just so big with so many types of terrain, that there's something for everyone! That being said, east coast states like Virginia and New York take my breath away when driving through them.

If we’re talking scenery then it’s got to be California; A beautiful coastline to the west, the Sierra Nevada mountain range (particularly Yosemite) to the east, a vast desert down south, the redwood/sequoia forests that span across the entire north, etc. It really does have quite a bit of everything
I dont even live in America. I just love watching your guys' videos lol
Utah & Oregon have my picks
Maryland girl finally said something right!
in no particular order: WY, MT, FL, UT, CA
Madison Glenn What about Hawaii?
Amtrak Productions I loveee Florida. They have the most fun over there! And you are always close to something. If you are south, you are close to Miami. If you are up north you are close to the them parks. I honestly believe it’s just so so beautiful. All the cultures there make it better!
Isabella Méndez Florida is not awful. I just had a bad experience there. I prefer Washington state!
I love Disney Land in California and Disney World in Florida. They get more points for that but nothing could beat my state 😌
Aight Florida, New Mexico, Colorado, Maine, and Hawaii are the most beautiful
i really think everyone needs to visit utah, ive lived here my whole live and its just so beautiful.
skittle bean What about Connecticut? Our state is beautiful too. But I know what you mean Utah has a lot of nice scenic views so I see why you would pick Utah.
Utah is gorgeous
Utah is really really nice however the Mormons can be a little crazy
Northern Minnesota is so underrated
@@blaketurg mini-soda
y’all are sleeping on New York we’re so much more than just Manhattan
Upstate NY>NYC by a long shot.
Also Arizona is actually pretty beautiful. There are forests all around the Grand Canyon that are stunning, and not to mention the canyon itself? Also noteworthy mention: the mountains! And the saguaro cacti!
Avery Petrazzi I’m convinced that my state is a nobody
I’m British and I would LOVE to visit upstate New York. Lots of the US appeals to me but nothing more than upstate NY.
Same with New Jersey, we’re not all “Jersey Shore”, we have some beautiful forests and lakes.
Y'all sleepin on North Carolina. It's got the blue ridge mountains and green forests and miles of beautiful beaches.
Y'all got Mrbeast up there too
North Carolina is just the poor mans Virginia. And South Carolina is their red headed step child.
Exactly! NC is beautiful and has everything!
Nah I live in NC, Hawaii is beautiful imo
But anywhere in the west that isn’t super inhabited and any states with nice national parks (like Yosemite) would get beauty points imo.
Cole Thrash you didn’t have to do us South Carolinians like that though 😔
Indiana: “is Arizona.”
While other states keep saying Hawaii or California.
Heck yea. Indiana be that humble hipster Hoosier!
I know i love indiana for this
I mean, we just be like that tho
South Dakota lady passed the vibe check

Yasss RI girl!!! Rhode Island is such an underrated state. If you know where to go, Rhode Island has some beautiful spots. Ocean views (like The Cliff Walk), old architecture and mansions, even the urban parts are artsy!
Summer Murray Oh my god so true. I went to Newport a few years ago and I’m hoping to go back sometime within the next year. It’s so beautiful.
Surprising no one and or little people said Michigan, it’s such a gorgeous place with the Great Lakes
My Opinion Vermont, Florida, Washington, Texas, New Hampshire.
Wilk Ventilator +Oregon 😄
What about Wyoming?
Vermontttttt
Finally,TEXAS
Dude Athlete wyoming doesn’t exist
It’s Utah I live here lmao. We have so many national parks and mountains and beautiful scenery
May be biased but Michigan is beautiful, we have the Great Lakes and the upset peninsula is gorgeous, upper Michigan in the winter is stunning too.
Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington
All of the Pacific Northwest. The South is Beautiful Too with great food and friendly people, but I would'nt want to live there.
NXME Washington is better than Oregon
Lucas Lehn both have their pros and cons.
Quinn Reverance nobody goes to the Olympic peninsula or the Palouse but that’s what looks he best in WA
NXME missouri.. more like misery
1. California
2. Washington
3. Oregon
4. Utah
5. Hawaii
i went to alaska last summer and in my opinion, it’s the most beautiful state in the country. the mountains are breathtaking and the moose are everywhere. i highly recommend going if you can afford it.
As a Michigander I would say
Hawaii (Maui, Big Island, Then Oahu)
Oregon
Arizona
Colorado
Massachusetts
Im a californian and i believe the most beautiful states are alaska, Oregon, Colorado, maine, Hawaii, new Hampshire, California, Florida, new york and vermont. Reasons may include nature, people, history, and buildings.
Unmmm is Michigan not a thing? There is literally 2 parts all mostly surrounded by fresh water lakes. Yall are wack.
Yup and the worst roads I’ve ever driven on along with the ridiculously high insurance. Been a resident for 25 years and I’m looking to leave someday
And Mackinaw Island is beautiful
Yes up north
Cool, Alaska still has the most lakes though. And glacier fed lakes are stunning.
@@miket9756 You are definitely right about the roads. We vacation in Michigan every year which I love, but the potholes I definitely don't love.
Florida, Hawaii, and Alaska
top most beautiful states: hawaii, california, colorado, alaska, & washington
i gotta day it’s arizona or utah, all the national parks are gorgeous
every state has both ugly and beautiful but the more undeveloped western states are the best to me
@proud American
Alaska, Hawaii and California.
I've never been to NY but that guy gives that state a GOOD reputation.
Yet he usually only mentions NYC
He loves his apple orchards. This is like the 3rd or 4th time he's mentioned them.
That dude is a true representation of old school New York, before the hipsters took it over
California's nature really is beautiful. The coast, the redwoods, the sand dunes! (Yes, we have sand dunes) I love this state so much.
Top 3 prettiest states I've seen
1. Florida
2. New York (upstate NY in the Finger lakes is so peaceful and nice)
3. Minnesota
I'm honestly going to say its straight up Washington. Well, at least the west coast.. I mean its called the Evergreen state for a reason with its endless trees. And its split right in half, making a diverse location with greens and snow on the left, and desert on the right. There are even volcanos!
I've been all over into many states but hands down Oregon. If you ever get a chance go to Oregon
seaside is beautiful and the trees are so nice. the weather is alright most people don't like rain but i do
You will get picked on by Oregonians for using an umbrella. Oregon is great, but, you have to like rain
Yes!! I'm Oregonian and Oregon is SOO BEAUTIFULLL. I really like the New England States like Vermont and Pennsylvania
What about Wyoming?
Champagne Hund how about Washington, Oregon, but cooler
The only downside to live in hawaii is the expensive housing
And expensive everything else
Right but that's not the question
too lazy for a good name Yeah! Like VERY VERY VERY expensive housing.
@@candyapu3 tbh it’s only the housing really. Gas and groceries sometimes
Virginia, especially the Shenandoah Valley, is stunning!!!
Claire Evans country roaaaaaaads
As a Californian while I do think this state is beautiful I wouldn't say it's the most beautiful. Coolest yeah, awesome cities and like that one dude said we have like nearly everything biome wise, but Alaska does it's one thing really really well. Oregon's also not half bad.
Why does the North Carolina guy look like an old Jonas brother?
Yeah he seems like a nice guy but he irks me
@@kyledavis4202 SAME HE IRRITATES ME SO MUCH WHENEVER HE POPS UP
Maine is like the little brother of Hawaii that is forgotten about
*bigger brother. Maine was a state before Hawaii.
The first video I’ve seen when someone talks about New Hampshire
Maine has the mountains in the west, Acadia np, thousands of miles of coastline, thousands of islands, Baxter State Park, beautiful lakes, and is the most forested state in the US. Pretty unbeatable imo.
1 national park? Utah has 5 plus greatest snow on earth. I think it's gotta be either Alaska, California or Utah
usa Maine has 89% of its land covered by forest, whereas Alaska only has 35%
I love how Colorado girl brought her dog🐶
The NY rep finally acknowledged that upstate exists (and yes it is the most beautiful I'm in the Adirondacks)
Brooklyn and Manhatten
Upstate is gorgeous! As a child I thought there was only the city lol
Honestly, Maine and Vermont are the best. The mountains and dense forests are gorgeous. The best scenery ever
When 3 people say Oregon🥰
Utah. Is my favorite. Probs because I live there tho😶 Its so pretty! Currently there is 2 ft of snow
I've lived all over so I've seen alot
1) California
2) Hawaii
3) Oregon
4) Maine
5) Michigan (UP)
Why was I low-key sad Washington didn't get more mentions
Facts
It's obvious that pretty much all of them have been to Hawaii.
“Kansas is the prettiest state”
Me: is a flat greenish-brown field of cows pretty to you?
Jackson Beamer have you not been to the flint hills or the vast forest
To me it is hehe
@@bloodslushy346 Come out to the West and We'll show you VAST forests. You have a small park.
