    Financial experts recommend that people keep about 6-12 months of emergency savings. But, I'm conflicted. I'm assuming this money should not be invested, since it will be difficult to access during an emergency.

    Love your videos. Just wanted to say that you can borrow to buy stocks. Every broker I've ever had an account with offered margin loans. Margin uses the stock you buy as collateral to purchase more... Just saying that it actually kind of is like real estate in that respect.

    • @bluuegirl4

      @@bluuegirl4 That's a very emotional response. It doesn't change the fact that brokerage margin is functionally the same as a HELOC. And there are 3rd party lenders that will give you fixed-term loans if you put up stock as collateral.

    • @itsrosehan
      @itsrosehan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      OUdude87 The riskiness of a REIT all depends on the quality of the real estate it owns, its management, etc. But if you own a REIT index, such as FSRNX or VGSLX, you’re investing in the real estate market as a whole, which over the long term always goes up!

    • @oudude8770
      @oudude8770 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @itsrosehan
      @itsrosehan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      OUdude87 Definitely nothing over 0.20%, but even better, nothing over 0.10%! You can build practically any portfolio with funds if expense ratios under that threshold. So 0.06% is quite good...

      The Federal Reserve propping up the market by buying corporate bonds, junk bonds, and ETF's is a scam also. Many companies have been losing money since the pandemic started, yet the stock market keeps rising. Corporate profits are down, yet shares are going up. This is artificial.
