Lol. I love how these two are literally the definition of too smart for your own good. After they’re done trying to kill each other they go right back to a sensible goal. The way the Arkham games wrote these characters are great.
This is easily the best boss fight in the game. it switches up the combat mechanics on you, forcing you to rethink how you approach the stealth in the game and it puts pressure on you by having Mr. Freeze launch seeker drones to flush you out if you take too long to get at him. The way it forces you to maintain a specific distance away from him to keep safe, while being able to take advantages of the moments when you disable him means you never feel safe. It's a damn shame there aren't any other boss fights like this in the series.
i appreciate this level's creativity. but imo this is the only good thing i can tell about this level. it was basically a glorified stealth mission rather than a boss fight. and particularly unchallenging one that is. because we are dealing with a one character who cant even move fast instead of multiple henchmen that can run
“Hey, I made an antidote for you.” *“Cool.”* “But you can’t have it.” *“I’ll just beat the crap out of you then.”* “Okay, you can have it now, but go find my wife.” *“The antidote isn’t here”* “Oh shucks, take this cool gadget I made and get it back, and find my wife.” *“Thanks.”*
If I were to remake this game, I’d rewrite this scene. It makes little sense why he’d destroy one of the cures and why Batman agrees to help only after a fight.
Yeah. All Freeze had to do was tell him that Nora has been taken. I don't think Batman would have refused, especially since they worked together to make the cure.
@@goodnesswhy Exactly, now if it were like Freeze said you have to do this right now and batman is like I'll do it later and they fight, that's a little better, but still so so.
@@Menckenperson I feel like if Joker actually used Nora to blackmail Freeze it would have made a lot more sense. Like have Joker say he'll only give her back if Freeze delivers the cure to him instead of handing it over to Batman. Batman then has to fight Freeze to get the cure or at least keep Joker from getting it, but then Harley steals it while they're fighting. The fight ends when Batman tells Freeze he'll make sure Joker doesn't do anything to Nora and asks Freeze if he can help him get into the steel mill. Freeze then gives Batman the freeze grenade to help
Batman (if he was smart): Sure, Freeze, I'll bring back your wife. I was going to do that anyway, you know? But I really need that medicine because I have no idea how much time I have left before dying and I believe you want me alive to help you Batman, in reality: *Says nothing as he walks to the safe as if Freeze is going to just let him do that*
Ya know something tells me all of this would have never happened if Bruce simply mentioned he's not feeling and got no time, thank him for making the cure and reassures that he'll find nora and I do think the only reason why Freeze refused and break the antidote is cus of how ungrateful and impatient Batman sounded. Like he genuinely sounded concerned when he was asking how batman was feeling and he really did seemed like he wanted to help him and hoped he would do the same too by helping him back but after the rude toned response,he probably felt a sad and so he refused because even if he gave him that antidote he was convinced that Batman won't help on finding nora. It is still nice of him to help him again even after the beat up and probably relieved to hear Bruce promised he'll find nora but man bruce should have said that early in the first place but alas i guess the poison really kick his nerves.
It was definitely hard mode, as a whole, the Mr. Freeze fight is fairly easy, but it’s not as simple as using the same tactics every time. Every time you use one specific tactic to take him down, you can’t use it again. It actually makes it that much more fun and satisfying when you win. This is the one boss battle I enjoy playing again and again.
@@marckempe2143 if this was hard mode you wouldn't be able to use detective vision that long as this guy did. He fooled everyone with his title lol and you were the biggest idiot here
*@Bryan El* Alright, let me explain how this fight differs in each difficulty: 1. Easy difficulty only requires you to take Mr. Freeze down 3 times. 2. Medium difficulty requires 5 times. 3. Hard difficulty requires 8 times. 4. New Game+ requires 9 times. And with regards on his detective vision jammer, he can only really do that on New Game Plus. The mode that I am playing on is just the regular hard mode.

Best boss fight but the worst writing, the switch up makes no sense lol freeze did not stand on business
@@nine2mdnt There's lots of problems with the writing in the Arkham games. You just have to allow yourself to dismiss it if you want to enjoy them.

I agree but at the end of the day he is a villian haha.
I wanna know how Harley knew where Freeze's safe was. What did she hack the cameras in the building somewhere???
Mister Freeze knows Batman quite well, curious why he didn't just give Batman ghe cure so Batman would have an easier time finding Nora.
He desperate, he want to use the cure to make sure that Batman will focus on finding Nora first, instead of “choosing the nearest mission to do”

I like how Mr. freeze’s voice sounds like the animated version when the helmet is on

It’d made sense actually… . Mainly because his wife’s taken, and he needs Batman’s help. Or his gadgets if he’s dead
You can also:
glide kick (can't glide after that)
drop atrack
get him from behind glass
some said wire walk also worked.
