    A suggestion: Julia could you please put “the whole move” at the beginning of your videos so that we can easily be aware of what indeed is it🤣 this is extremely helpful for those who are not really informed with the “names”. People can therefore know what is a scratch spin in 10 seconds without needing to drag the bar all the way down

    Your skating videos are the clearest and easiest to understand! I struggle with brackets and rockers. My dream-goal is to be able to do these turns effortlessly and to ‘string them together’ into a sensible sequence.

    Love the footwork videos! Would love some edge exercises. I’m trying to get stronger on edges and turns.

    wow I was so afraid to learn these because I had so much trouble with forward brackets and even more trouble with backwards 3 turns so I thought this would be so hard but it's so much easier!! yay!

    As always, thanks for sharing free lessons on the steps. Great content. Please can you do the same for rockers and counters? I am struggling on the forward inside counters.

    Will you do a video about improving your rotation? Because I would like to try to do axels or double jumps but I don't have good rotation speed

    Could you make a video of toe pick moves like running across the ice, and other toe footwork moves that are neat to add to our skating? Thanks!!

    Any advice for keeping in skating shape if one lives in a place without year round ice?

    • @CoachJulia
      @CoachJulia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My top advice is to get a pair of 'off-ice' skates that mimic figure skates so that you can practice year round. There are a few brands that make them. Like 'Pic Skates'.

    Hi Coach Julia! Do you recommend helmets or knee pads for adult learn to skate? I just started and no one wears a helmet at my rink

    • @CoachJulia
      @CoachJulia  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If it makes you feel safer, then go ahead and wear them. Some do, and some don't at my rink. If you do wear kneepads. Try and find a thinner style so that your movement is not inhibited.
