magnificent!! years ago as a student i did heavily textured and colorful works and was highly criticized by professors yet well received by the community. i was told "paint what you see" yet when i did--well...it wasnt the best educational experience i had--yet here i am having an AMAZING educational experience many thanks to you gerda! thanks so very much. peace and joy to you!

I wonder if you sometimes surprise yourself with the images you find. You have recurring motifs, but in each painting there is a new bizarre element. Or two. Or three. When I saw the painting before viewing the video, I thought that this is the creepiest one you've done so far. But after watching you paint it, the 'creepy' factor fades somewhat. Your work is weird. I love it.
