- Die Natur kann uns nicht nur inspirieren, in diesem Falle lieferte sie mir auch ein Collageelement, ein getrocknetes, skelettiertes Magnolienblatt, welches ich auch farblich in mein Bild integriere. Das macht Lust auf Mehr....
Nature can not only inspire us..... in this case I stick a dried, skeletonized magnolia leaf on my painting and integrate it using acrylic glazes. That leaves me wanting more....

This is delightful! Perhaps it could work with feathers. That would be fun to try. I also have some beautiful, old lace handkerchiefs that were my grandmother’s. After practicing this technique with other things, I might try it with one of the handkerchiefs. I think it would be beautiful. Thanks for sharing this video. I have saved it for future reference. ❤️

I can't believe seeing your recent work as i'm looking for inspirational help as i'm using Dried leaves and my main ones are Magnolia too. I've been experimenting with glass plate mono printing and gelli plates for the first time. Oh and wild flowers so can't believe you're doing it too. Das mit der weißen Lasur(?) und dem grünen Rand, sowie die Verlängerungslinie hat´s dann gebracht. Zuerst dachte ich: Ohje, ein einzelnes Blatt,- könnte n bißchen langweilig werden. Jetzt ist das Bild ganz hübsch und interessant geworden.

Hallo, toll! Ich bin immer wieder fasziniert von den spontanen Veränderungen. Jahrzehntelang habe ich mit Ölfarben verbracht. Das erste, was ich gelernt habe - niemals auf der Leinwand mischen! - Die Umstellung fällt mir mehr als schwer. Ihre Anregungen sind ein Highlight für mich. Vielen Dank!
Warum niemals auf der Leinwand mischen?
Sämtlich Töne habe ich immer von dunkel nach hell durchgemischt. Eine relativ große Holzplatte komplett voll abgestufter Farbtöne. Ich habe auch das gesamte Gemälde im Kopf gehabt, bevor ich begonnen habe. 🤔 Ich hab’s halt so gelernt. Jetzt habe ich die Möglichkeiten von Acryl entdeckt. Aber den Umgang damit muss ich mir erarbeiten.
