- Genshin Impact's Fontaine OST album "Fountain of Belleau" is out now! The album's four discs "Chanson of Justice and Impartiality," "Arioso of Belle Epoque," "Chapelloise of Trickling Springs," and "La bataille de Fontaine" feature 96 remarkable tracks composed by the HOYO-MiX team, each one an original composition for the region of Fontaine in Genshin Impact.
The songs featured on the Fontaine OST album were recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra with special guest folk musicians at Abbey Road Studios, Angel Studios, Air-Edel Recording Studios, and other recording studios respectively.

It's *actually* insane, and despite how beloved the Genshin music is I don't think it will ever be appreciated as much as it should be. What they have created is nothing short of miraculous, it's cultural harmony and a musical phenomenon

4:38 this is one of my favourites by far. Elegant, mysterious, dramatic, grand and really captivates the elevated feeling of fontaine (no pun intended). So of course it was by far the best track to choose to show off The Court of Fontaine when we first reached it by Aquabus :) To bad it's so short

1:00:34 I love how the travail theme for fontaine isnt actually part of fontaine main theme givin how fontaine AQ revolves around "there is a true meaning behind it and everyone hides something" and how travail theme is basically the house of hearth main theme its also explained why there's fatui leimotif in it and how Arlechinno a harbinger from fontaine reflects in the theme
i like how the supposed fontaine theme from the travail preview became arlecchino's theme
I remember noticing how the Fontaine travail theme resembled the Signora resurrection themes and Columbina's singing. It makes a lot of sense that it was used on Arlecchino-related parts!
In the behind the scenes the composer stated that it really is supposed to be the main theme, but it sounds like fatui so they just made it fatui and composed a new melody for the region which I'm glad they did.
@@vichoe4589 From what I've seen on the behind-the-scenes video, the music team found that the Travail theme is too similar to the Fatui leitmotif, so they changed it to a more elegant theme and reserved the old theme for the house of the hearth.

4:40 this song played when I arrived in front of Furina's house for the Roses and Muskets event. Cruel, mihoyo, cruel.

Fontaine's soundtrack perfectly illustrates the utter bravado of it's inhabitants. There's an air of sophistication, an ode to romance, not just for love but the love of life itself. So much anxious yearning underneath a facade of refined bravado.
Mondstadt felt like home, where you go on fantastical adventures.
Liyue felt like being welcomed into a warm and ancient country, while unearthing secrets of old.
Inazuma was tranquil and peaceful at times, while also tense enough to make you anticipate your next battle; like the wandering ronin, you find beauty and conflict wherever you go.
Sumeru was lively, grand and vast; so deep and so wide that you felt every step could lead to more knowledge of this land.
But Fontaine feels as if you can take a step back, enjoy the view, the food, the art and music. Fights itself feel as if it is a romanticized duel, and thus a lot more lighthearted.
As a classical music and jazz music lover, Fontaine has my favorite soundtrack in all of the game. There's just so much polish and subtle emotion in every track.
THIS. wonderfully captures the vibes of each region. My favorite is Fontaine too for the same reasons, with Liyue as a close second.
33:43 was the first track i heard when entering fontaine, it is such a beautiful introduction to the region, it invokes such strong feelings of a new and magical steam-punk region, while the large waterfall ambience falls in the back.
Sounds a lot like the Belobog city music from Honkai Star Rail...probably the same instruments

It really makes you forget about how annoying getting outside actually is… whenever I listen to the music the vibes it gives really makes me want to visit a certain place in my imagination, but if I were to actually go there I would probably annoyed by the weather or how long it takes to walk, or some other problem like bugs.

Sumeru is basically an "acquired taste" unless you're exposed to the cultural reference of the music or stayed long enough in the region, i doubt any new traveler will like it. However, i do think that the composition in sumeru is something else.
Possibly my second favourite album after the Inazuma one! This can really calm people down over the fact that YuPengChen left the music production team. Hoyomix is still talented to produce banger musics even with the absence of our beloved composer. I believe he will also be happy to see his effort passed onto good hands.

After playing through Act V of the archon quest, Masquerade of the Guilty, I almost teared up listening to 1:18 with the context the motif was used in.
The Fontaine theme is just a perfect way to introduce the new world. The intensity... everything, and even its rearrangement "Le souvenir avec le crepuscule (Memory of Twilight)" makes it even more powerful.
"La nuit silencieuse et paisible (The Silent and Peaceful Night)" is just chef's kiss. Cafe Lucerne is just better with this track in play.
"Deductive Rendition" is so good when investigating...it reminds me of Themis soundtracks.
I love how "Le fleuve secret" faintly plays and only gets louder when approaching the main area of Fleuvre Cendre. Gotta love the application of lessons from the Veluriyam Mirage soundtrack.
57:50 this one stood out to me the most. It really fits the scene when that mondstadt thief girl was revealed to be alive and well.
Although Yu Peng Chen is not in Hoyoverse anymore, the guys that carried on his legacy have kept up our expectations. I swear, if there is anything that is just perfect is Genshin's music. What a time to be alive, to listen to this music quality.
This is so far my absolute favorite out of all the regions. This just sounds so mysterious and enchanting and just plain magical.

I won't lie, when I heard that Yu-peng Chen had left HOYO-MIX, I was a little concerned about how the music of Teyvat would sound without him. I am no longer concerned, Fontaine OST absolutely delivers!
Now I am aware that he did partially work on it and he is willing to work on future OST's as well if they ask of him, but I do give credit to HOYO-MIX as a whole for this wonderful new OST.
So dramatic, so romantic, so majestic, yet so sad to hear, Fontaine OSTs nail it

I love how "Fontaine" almost perfectly captures the nation's story from the moment The Hydro Archon had made her decision, to the traveler's first step into the nation, all the way through to the resolution of the heartbreaking climax.
How Hoyo plans to follow up the development of The Hydro Archon actually kind of scares me, simply because of how much I'm expecting to cry.
Fontaine is the most fun I've ever had in genshin in terms of music characters, story, exploration, like everything really. I literally cannot stop glazing this region

27:45 I remember a scene, a sepia-monochromatic scene while rewinding the past... the past where a dragon incarnate trying to become more human got his biggest regret in life... his work just got it even further from him... being a chief justice loyal to the cold rationality of the code for hundreds of thousands of cases. Just grief and sorrow goes through him, in the form of the skies crying. And now, the clouds clear and the sun reaches out.

I really love Fontaine's music, it really fits this beautiful nation and story. I love the fact that they've used water to make a part of the music, it makes it so special.
I like listening to genshin music while i'm drawing. I love the theme called Fontaine and the battle one called Lamentation et Triomphe

Genshin's music has always been good and I've always loved it, but this sound track and fontaine's music as a whole has been on another level and has for all intents and purposes swept me off my feet with how good it is, I could listen to all of this for hours upon hours on end without any sort of break from listening to it
As a dancer, this soundtrack is pleasing to my ears, especially the first one. I’m so hyped for snezhnaya!!!!

Haven't seen many mention it but the gameplay of the court cases, the pointing at each other during the trial, and the track that plays during the investigation just have to be nods to the Ace Attorney franchise and I absolutely loved it. Searching for Clues might as well be a courtroom theme from the actual games. Obviously not all court gameplay is a direct reference to the franchise but the inspiration here is pretty overt and neat.
This is my favorite OST collection so far. Fontaine's music just hits all the right buttons for me. Thank you, HOYO-MiX!!!
I was studying in the library and got tired, so i took a nap with these calming and pleasant tunes playing in my earphones. That was a most sweet 15 mins nap hehe 💞
