    Hey man, thank you so much for this.
    I live outside the US, so some of the materials that most crafters here on YT say to use are out of reach for me and most others who want to craft, it becomes infuriating after a while when you watch a video only to come to realize you can't complete a project due to some item you can't get your hands on.
    What you have here is a truly simple, readily available, anywhere in the world tutorial.
    Excellent work!!

      Thank you so much for your comment, that means a lot to me. I've felt the same way watching many crafting videos, so I really want my videos and crafts to be accessible for people all over the world. Hearing that you feel the same motivates me that I'm on the right track and I've got a lot more planned for the near future!

    Thanks for making this. Everyone is always building with foam. It looks awesome, but I just don't have space for large quantities of it. Cardboard is easier to store in small amounts.

      I am happy that I can make things like this and show the possibilities of what you can do with cardboard!

    many ppl have no idea the power of Cardboard and Toilet Papers for awesome props and terrains
    also Toilet Papers are the best to simulate the Water, perfect tutorial.

      Very true! I made a little pond water feature using the same toilet paper for water texture and plan to do a video on that at some point

    Hey there! Agree with everybody so far. It's insane the power of cardboar, toilet paper and glue thaty you have shown us. I have followed this one and it came out as the best/most realistic terrain I've ever made! Can't wait for your next cool building/terrain. Please keep up the great work!🙏

    This is freaking awesome - all available low-to-no cost materials! Quite some work it seems, but very convincing result. Thanks for sharing.

      Thank you! It's really not that bad to be honest, if you break it down into the steps I took nothing gets too tedious

    Dude, this is great. Thanks for showing how much can be done and so well with just basic materials that are lying around the house!

      Thank you, I appreciate it! If you haven't seen it yet, check out my trees video too, you might like it a lot! I've also got a LOT coming soon building on what I learned from this craft, I posted a preview on my community tab

    Really good stuff my man. And echoing the sentiment of the previous commenter would like to see your trees, hoping they are similarly simple as that may tempt me into making some trees at some point!

    • @selrahcmoonandstar
      @selrahcmoonandstar  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The trees might be even simpler haha, and the video for them is in the "editing" stage!

    Aww man you're gonna make me start drinking lots of tea! (Really like your videos, just getting into terrain making and it's good to have someone be a beacon of sensible resourcing!)

      Thank you so much, I appreciate you saying that! I've been drinking a lot more tea this year than I ever have before haha

    Again, nice work! Good use of the spent tea leaf. I’ve used herbal tea leaves to vary the ground colour and texture. Just need to sieve the. To eliminate the longer fibres. Look forward to your next video. Cheers from BC

      Thank you! I was surprised at how much I really liked the tea leaf flocking. In the past I've just sort of stippled green paint, but the texture and color variation from the tea is really cool for something like this.

      @selrahcmoonandstar  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you! I did make the mat too, it was just some cheap cloth I found at a thrift store and the same craft paints. I actually filmed the making of it a couple years ago haha, need to get back on editing it
