Fantano annoys me because he’s a fan of particular styles of music, talking about music he never liked as if he’s being objective and then retrieving into “hey, it’s just an opinion”. It’s like an art film buff criticizing Sam Raimi films or Ben Stiller comedies, as if from an objective standpoint, but never admitting to hating this kind of product they criticize in the first place. I think he loves hurting people’s feelings when he trivializes a piece of music like that. I never discuss Taylor Swift because I will never say anything good about her music, since I never liked it. Fantano does this every goddamn time. I think the biggest problem is that he’s an insincere person.
Yeah I dont know what Fantano is smoking, Dont Get Me Started is fucking awesome. Specially when the drums come in and the " your voice means nothing" outro
The difference between the live and the studio version is insane. I don't know why but I think they decided to record the drums in this "muffled" way, removing a lot of the low frequenzies , resulting in a loss of the kick effect to the kick lol. Live it's more of a dance song, hearing that big kick in your chest
@@gorskiy1 I agree. I wonder if Anthony was thinking about the cover for Discipline when he said Red instead of the album name itself, being Discipline. There's such a confidence in being the front a center of a song while playing those relentless frenzy of notes. Definitely dug Zero Sum a lot.

contrary to popular belief, I'm beginning to believe this is Jonny Greenwood's scrap material band and NOT Thom's.. I don't think Jonny is a lyricist (as far as I know) but that is Thom's main contribution. The older I get, the less I give a fuck about what people think about the music I love. Music is art and will hit every person differently. Thom usually uses hardware synths which can sometimes lag behind their VST counterparts in a few areas. Analog synths in general trade fidelity for a warm and lofi sound. But they're DEFINITELY not cheaper.
