I recognize myself in most of the explanations you gave, except that I like to say "better to face reality than turn our backs and not be prepared". If you don't mind, I would like to share a conversation with a Mayan nephew from Guatemala. It concern's two prophecies, one from Mayan which says that "we are in a time of feminine and masculine to unite in the world' the second prophecy is from Aztec, it says that the condor and the eagle will reunite to speak of peace. We have to understand that it is time for humans to wake up. The world is living with the possibility of being destroyed by the most intelligent being that mother earth ever created. The conversation for those interested. My son Jean-Francois suggested a book which I think you would greatly enjoy. (He said it is the best book he has ever read). As an anthropologist and the research you have done with natives, the research of the two David will please you and is incredible. D. Graeber is an anthropologist and D. Wengrow is an archaeologist. The title is "Dawn of everything: a new history of humanity" I have 40% read (more than 600 pages in the book) and I can't stop thinking of how things were before the white man invaded countries all around the world, especially the American continent. I have a very very small drop of D.N.A. in me from my far natives ancestors. It has been growing in me and I have a feeling that it is time for the Condor and the Eagle to meet soon. Human will not survive unless we learn who we are as humans. The white man is far from understanding how united we are with nature. He still has to learn that he control's nothing but the destruction of humanity. We, the white skin men, have to learn with proof. Until we understand that mother earth is alive and not able to feed all of her and my own children, they will do destruction for their passage in time. The feeling of the urgency to learn from Natives is strong, time is running out, white nations are going crazy but... The young and old are starting to look inside their heart for answers. Mother earth has accepted the existence of covid which could have relieved her of many humans wanting to live as old as possible. She cannot feed everyone and her children are suffering. Until we understand the greatness we are and that life is a passage for us and our future ancestors and also that we should be grateful and take care of our mother things will get worse. How worse will it be? No problem, many will have bad experiences and will not want to let go of their rich life. But many are searching and are starting to wake up. This is what I observe in the new generation. They do not have a choice to look inside (to listen to the condor), the outside (the eagle) is destroying their future. I see the young generation kind of mad and disappointed at the baby boomers generation. I also see some elderly feeling bad about what is happening to their grand-children . Not knowing how to change things without losing what they have gained. Inside many, a wake-up is happening. The condor and the eagle are working inside to who is opening inside. Does that make sense? Could it be that the two, condor and eagle, are the same as female and male that we are? It is time for men (eagles) to let the women (condors) take their place inside and outside of us?.
