Just made ten today for teachers gifts. Will put a Christmas tree decoration in it plus chocolates. I will put a design on each too, maybe an initial. Glad to be back into sewing 😊 Thank you.
Love that fabric, over the years i've made many of these. They are great for the grandkids for their little toys, legos etc, used car fabrics for the boys for their matchbox cars etc,for the girls for all their hairbands, scrunchies etc, there are a million uses for these, and we are limited only by our imaginations. It's even nice to let them pick out the fabric they want.
I love my serger and becoming very comfortable with it. But now I know how to make these quick, cute, multi functional bags. Awesome idea. I was thinking of using a narrow strap, ribbon or shoestring for the drawstring. Great tutorial, Andrea! Hope we progress to the garments. Do you remember “Stretch n Sew”? I still have all my patterns and notes. Made outfits for my children while they were napping.
