I'm taking a beginner Serger class on Monday. My Serger has been sitting on my sewing desk for two years and I'm finally going to use, it was covered with dust so I really need a cover for it. This looks easy, thank you so much.

Thank you. I just made this for my Babylock Lauren, with your measurements. It's maybe a little big, but that's okay. It will work fine. The cover was tall enough to turn under an inch on the hem, for a smoother hem.

Interesting. Don't have a serger, but I have enjoyed the projects. It is always a pleasure watching you create. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this easy tutorial. I recently purchased a serger after 50 years of sewing and wanted to protect it from dust and my new kitten Charlie Halo, he already is very interested in what I'm doing in my sewing room

Do you use the upper and lower needle? Or just the upper?

Thankyou Andrea. Guess what I will be sewing next? Yes, a cover for my overlocker. I don't have one. I just throw a small square table cloth over it but I like your cover AND done with the overlocker to boot!!! I will use the same fabrics that I made my sewing machine cover with. My sewing room is starting to look a whole lot smarter. I Look forward to next week.

I really like this pattern of the serger cover. I'm going to make it, and also adapted to a sewing machine cover also. Thank you so much for this tutorial.I've been watching several ones today. And this one really makes sense in the sewing process, because it's not only sewn but lined in the same process.

I have a singer serger. Do I need to use all four needles for this project? I used it in making dress before with all four needles and I could see the treads on the clean side. Hm. Please advice

I have always served with four threads...so, I am not sure. Hoping someone in the community will comment too!

Keen to use this as a starter project for my new serger. However I found it a bit confusing watching your video with the lining being the same fabric as the external. It was hard to tell what was pinned where at times. Hopefully it will make more sense when making it.
