So unless you have the additional receiver, the mics will not work in like TikTok etc?

Recording straight to TikTok is only possible with the MoveMic Receiver. If you wish to create content for TikTok when using the microphones connected direct to phone, you will need to record your video content in the Shure MOTIV Video app, save to your camera roll, then import into the TikTok app.@@GaryStockton
