Very Elegant Sinfonia here by a genius from Poland who’s style has a bit of the Classical Centres of Europe, and his own, from diverse folk groups in Poland ❤it Pau thank you

Typical late Dresden school style (although with several original features especially with gallant elements in slow movements as you correctly stated).

I am familiar with the composers of the high baroque Dresden school: Heinichen a.o. But can you give me a few examples of (pre) classical followers of the late Dresden school?

Johann Adolph Hasse was one the last active composer in Dresden (c.1744-1763) regarding Golabek's lifetime. But Golabek's symphony is far away from Hasse's music style. After Hasse, the main composer active in Dresden (1765-1801) was Johann Gottlieb Naumann (1741-1801) but we still have no chance to compare with his symphonies since they have never performed in our times. Greetings,

@@Reciclassicat I agree Hasse style is far away from Golabek symphony you have uploaded.
I was also thinking to Abel who was sponsored by Hasse to join him in Dresden. Abel music is more or less in between high Dresden school and gallant style., to my ears
On the other hand Goldberg music is more conservative under influence of JS Bach, although he was also (maybe, it is not sure ......) pupil of WF Bach in Dresden. Unfortunately Goldberg dies young ...............
You are right citing Naumann: true we cannot listen to his symphonies, yet, but I have listened Aci & Galatea and a Passio and, yes, he is a typical "bridge composer" between two eras. I have also listened a few beautiful fortepiano sonatas of Naumann that are exquisite pre-classical pieces.
However I do agree and herewith reiterate my opinion that Golabek has got several original features, although regretfully I have solely listened your precious upload and shall look forward to hearing more, if and when available

@@Reciclassicat there is a channel on YT that has uploaded a few instrumental works of Naumann using a music software program. It seems that he composed a few ouvertures which are not part of any operas, but in fact short three-part symphonies of 8-10 minutes long. Too bad I forgot the name of the uploader!
