7:08 when i first played the bossfight i failed the korsica catch; I immediately restarted the game and redid the whole bossfight just to do it right. no regrets.
If we get a sequel, I hope we get a battle similar to this, but with an opponent that’s similar to Chai with hilarious back and forth banter where Chai getting a taste of his own medicine and finding it annoying. Tell me you would not see that! I would love such a rivalry to exist from this!
The way the music picked right back up and went even harder than before literally gave me chills, the soundtrack for this game is perfection, this song really feels like a super serious 1 on 1 duel

One thing I absolutely LOVED about this fight? It was the easiest to S rank. I really could rock that beat, and did it no-hit on my first try on Normal. Best boss fight in the game and I was going insane over how well I was doing it
Yyyyoooo I'm ngl when I say it would be impossible to get that kind of ranking unless ur really really really really hearing those beats u are a god at it but I'm really starting to see those clicks in when u need to Parry and dodge 😍😍😍😍 I'm so going to keep trying this until I get a perfect score with her 😂😂😂😂

I would have liked this game if the entire combat system was like this. I was sold on this game purely by seeing a video of this fight. But then I ended up not liking the rest of the game. I can handle an action platformer, and I can handle a timing-based combat system, but I can't do both at the same time. My brain can't keep track of the beat AND focus on keeping my character alive at the same time.
You can try easy difficulty at first and there is also a beat visualizer to help acclimate yourself with the rhythm. I say this 'cause I hope you get to play this game in its entirety due to it being absolutely amazing. But if you still dont vibe with it, well, different folks, different strokes.

Im so glad I went into this game spoiler free, I wanted her to join the party when I first saw her, and seeing this parry battle confirmed my wishes.
I first tried perfected this entire fight just bc i was so focused on getting her.
