This sermon was a welcomed surprise on my TH-cam feed today since the title greatly resonated with me as I have been meditating on Emmanuel, God with us since I have constantly felt His Presence as He has assisted me with the navigation of my new normal. I spent so many years without God, so I remember the hopelessness I felt, but in hindsight, He really was with me even when I didn’t feel it, but I didn’t become aware until after the fact. I’m also always so wrecked when I contemplate how Jesus represented the epitome of sacrifice and service by enduring rejection, separation from God, and a barbaric crucifixion to atone for our sins testifying to God’s relentless and unprecedented love for us. He is my suffering servant whose nail scarred hands and feet mean so much to me because He can relate to any suffering we experience and He comforts us with those hands when we are hurting. I can never find words to describe the absolute reverence I feel that compels me to love and follow Him in humble obedience feeling utterly grateful for all He has done for us who absolutely do not deserve it!!!! This sermon was so good Pastor Colby!!!
Amen!..Excellent word, a word of knowledge that comes from God will always be accompanied by scripture and confirmation so that there is no doubt it’s from him. ❤️💯
First the reason in the word of God and so the true feelings and emotions arise for God. He is such a loving God that he understands our every emotion, rejoices with his children when they are happy and feels our pain when we are sad. Jesus knows this very well I loved this sermon! 🙏
