I love the song "Drink a beer". I lost my younger and brother and sister in a car accident in 2008. I miss them so much. My sister was 20 and my brother was 16. My sister was only 15 months younger than me. She was my best friend. Thank you Luke. Love your # 1 fan.
Sweet Jesus, that's rough.... I can relate my friend... As a singer myself, if I didn't have my God given talent, I truly believe, I would have given up life completely! X
This song is also VERRRRRY dear to my heart. My cousin committed suicide 2 summers ago- VERY unexpected for us- and we always fished and drank beer and it still hits the deepest parts of my soul... Sorry to hear about your loss. Even tho this comment is 5 years old- I am sending you sooooo much love. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I said goodbye to my son yesterday. He died of what we believe was an overdose of drugs. He was 34 and his name is Jay.This interview really touched me deeply.
Matthew DeFeo Thank you.I am hoping that by speaking out,I can possibly make someone out there who may see this to realize that drugs will take you out .If it helps to save a life,I will talk openly about my son and the demons he battled.I have cried a river since last week for his young life.May he finally find peace.

I lost my mom Christmas 2016. I lost my brother July 2018 and lost my boyfriend October 2018. Losing my brother was hard...I can't imagine losing my sister too. Luke, you sure have been thru it. Props to you for sharing your pain to help others.
Such a wonderful, spiritual man Luke is. I lost a brother to drugs and I know the pain, and it haunts me to this day. I tried over the years to help him, but deep down inside of me I know it had to be him that wanted the help. He left a beautiful note, thanking everybody and tell us all he was so sorry for the pain he caused us over the years. Luke, your share of your siblings brought tears to my eyes and I wish you Peace within you. HUGS !!!
CMT awards aren't "Mainstream"? Of course they are you dumb bitch. All your capitol letters are UNCALLED FOR. So there, you have definitely done something uncalled for. P.s. Luke Bryan is worth 90 Million dollars. Not mainstream? You're mental lady. I still love you, check out my music if you want. I am definitely not main stream. That means I'm not on ABC news telling the story of my brother hanging his self after shooting my grandma. Instead I am here arguing with someone who used too many capitols and it triggered me. lol. I just felt someone needed to tell you to shut the hell up, so shut the hell up. there. If you were on the rag the day you made these comments please forgive my honest and true comments.
Mainstream definition: Mainstream is a term that usually refers to the common current of thought of the majority, meaning that "mainstream" things are those that are currently popular with most people. It is most often applied in the arts (i.e., music, literature, and performance).
What’s y’all problem y’all are lucky I don’t know y’all if I did your face would be broken, I am just guessing that you have a sugar daddy and you have never gone through loss and always get everything your way and when it ain’t your way you throw a tantrum til y’all get it your way so I’m tellin y’all this the most polite way me and my Wisconsin fighting self knows YALL SHPILD FIRST CHANGE YOUR NAME FROM COUMTRYMUSICLOVER I BET THE CLOSEST YALL HAVE EVER BEEN TO COUNTRY IS A CHILDRENS PICTURE BOOK WITH LITTLE CARTOON TRACTORS AND SECONDLY SHUT UP AND GO JIMP OFF OF A HIGHWAY OVERPASS, I hope y’all get hit by a big black Peterbilt hauling a hopper trailer with a load of corn on goin 60 mile an hour, ya loser
Man, great guy. Don't get me wrong, I love all country Alan Jackson, brooks and Dunn etc, but I love how modern country is evolving. And Luke Bryan is doin a damn good job of keeping the music fresh sounding
I agree to that as well. Guys like Josh Turner & Joe Nichols keep that traditional country twang in their voice and use lots of classic country instruments ( Mandolin, Lap Steel, Banjo, Fiddle). Where others its more pop and hip hop beats running loops lol.
Kyle Dunn i agree with what you guys are saying. The great thing for me is having the old school country singers songs and with the internet age you dont have to have a major label to succeed. Still alot of texas country singers making traditional sounding music..like Aaron Watson for example.
As I have always thought of this guy, he is a class act, and what definitely appears to be a great husband, father and all around family guy. Good luck to him and his family and much continued success.
Just came across this. Just lost my big brother (and only sibling) about 3 weeks ago. He was only 30... This really hit deep for me. The pain of losing someone so close who had their life cut short is incredibly difficult. I can't imagine having two sibling deaths!
I'm 19 and just lost my older brother two weeks ago, he was only 26 years old. Can I ask how it has been for you the last 6 years? I just can't imagine living a happy life after this.
The song "Drink a Beer" is a very touching song. It's one of my favorites and I've never really been a fan of country music. Now I can't stop listening on Luke Bryan is one of my favs.
This was so very touching...and it hits close to home for me. As I just lost both of my parents three weeks apart from each other. Luke, you're music just got a whole lot more meaningful to me ♡
I lost my 20 year old nephew last year then when we thought it could not get any worse my 25 year old niece died 5 weeks later! They we're brother and sister Thank you Luke for helping me thru such a hard time!
i have some natural real respect for all these singers that sing & live their real lives all while singing their songs & going threw some up's & downs of their songs... ( SOMETIMES U HONESTLY FEEL IT INSIDE AS THE WORDS COME ACROSS THE SPEAKER'S ...U KNOW THAT FEELING NO MATTER YOUR AGE & OR PLACE )... from the start of it long before me & now & long after me ALWAYS ALL NATURAL REAL LIFE RESPECT
Lol at his expression at 3:47 "Uhhhhh, thanks mom hahaha." What a humble, mellow dude. We all must go on in times of hardship. We get dealt shitty cards and all we can do is stack the deck and start over. Lost Dad when I was 13, Uncle was murdered 3 years ago and a close friend that helped me through depression just passed out of nowhere. You never really get over the loss of someone, you just bury it deep inside and remember what you gained from that person. I think that's what keeps you going, what you've learned from them, what they've taught you.
It was really sad when he said my two best siblings were gone in a flash I almost started crying hang in there luke just remember all of your fans love you and are always with you and remember your brother and sister will always be with you to
I feel his heartache. I lost my dad when I was 16. I just lost my husband 9 months ago. He's an awesome performer, husband , dad & all out person. There's nothing phony about him.
I couldn’t imagine not knowing why a sibling passed so young. So sad. He is so humble and kind for all he’s been threw. He gives me hope to get threw my hard times.
his ability to over come that much loose and still be a guy you love to go have a beer with, with that much fame is just overwhelming and cool as hell looking forward to more music from this guy
My grandpa passed away six years ago. Last month my uncle and other grandpa passed away two weeks in a row from each other. Drink A Beer came on the radio randomly the day my uncle passed and I have listened to it ever since. I love this interview...I admire and have more respect for Luke now than I ever did. He his words have provided encouragement and love to me during my rough time...Thank you for all you do Luke. Your music moves more mountains than you realize
Losing a brother 💔 is a big loss I know that too. Love this song . Today is a day I'll be listening to this song all day long. Many losses started after this 1 for 5 straight years loss 8 family members 💔 😢. Thanks for you sharing your experiences & song they really help . 💞😘your help is wonderful ❤
I it hard for you losing your brother and sister because I have lose two brothers and I only have one now and for about four years until October 23rd 2020 when I was in a car wreck hit by a drunk driver when someone told him about it because for about five months I didn't no one I couldn't talk or eat so now we are some closer but its hard just today would have been my mama birthday she would been 95 but it doesn't Mather how many days or year's you will never forget and all the good times all of that will be in your heart
I am so sorry for your loss. I watched this interview and I cried because of your loss and because you are a huge influence on a lot of people like myself, and many more Americans!!!!!!!! I love you and your music you are an awesome person and one day I hope I get to meet you!!!!!! Keep doing what you do!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to see you in concert on February 21st 2015 in Orlando Florida!!!!!!!!!
What a caring, solid message song. I guess I'm clueless as to what a huge star Luke is but don't listen to country music much. I heard of this song and came to listen to it and also to see this video. Tragedy comes to all, but what a wrench to lose both your siblings, and his folks, 2 of their 3 children. Luke seems like a real deep thinking and feeling man as well as greatly talented.
luke is so precious and sweet. he does everything for his fans. even though he has went through all of this, he’s still so amazing. just him taking fans up on stage and helping all these people. he’s honestly the best country singer. i love him so much.
This was so moving and touching. I couldent stop crying. I had recently lost a dog and a grandma I never met. This has helped me get passed that. Thanks Luke. Thank you.
drink a beer is my fav. just lost my brother back in October in a car accident going to work on a Monday morning. we spent a lot of years on the lake. this song is just perfect for my bro. thanks for sharing luke!!!
When I was two, both my grandfathers died (in their 40's) and my 19 year old aunt was murdered. When I was 30, my 23 yr old brother (only sibling) died on Labor Day. When I was 39, my mom died on Memorial Day and two months later, my stepdad died in an accident. This song has touched me so deeply. Every day I think of those I lost. This song gave me a different perspective to look at that loss from. To lose my brother, my best friend, impacted me the most. I think LB is extremely talented and after seeing this story, I have a whole other appreciation and level of respect for him as a human being. Thank your father for giving you the push to pursue your dream and bless us with your amazing story of hope and your talent.
ya I know it is hard it has been two months since my sister was murdered he still jail and her kids are still in cps foster care and don't know if who gets the kids and if her husband will go to jail. I still think about her everyday.
Luke Bryan is my favorite singer in the whole entire world. Not only is he my favorite singer, I can relate to him and saying that my sister died unexpectedly. I miss her so much. So I know how you feel. Even when a few years goes by its still hard to not burst out in tears knowing that someone so close is gone. Its hard to bare the pain in our hearts. I hope Luke Bryan can personally read this comment, to knlw that he can relate to one of his biggest fans.
WOW!!! I am sobbing right now. That absolutely breaks my heart. I lost my younger sister in 1999. I also lost my husband in 2008. Both on April 23rd. Luke, my heart goes out to you.
Just watched this interview didn't expect it to be about lose of two siblings. I also lost my two brothers Robert in 1999 Gerard in 2015 both at 32 years old. Thinking of you today.
SO SORRY 4 YOUR LOST TEARING UP AS I WRITE THIS.... but i know & feel & simply trust that GOD has a better plan for them & u & ALL OF US WHO LOST SOMEONEEEE way to early in our lives but i trust HIM in all HE does...like luke says in the video here @ 7 30-33 we have to live the best positive path we can & carry on & always remember them all !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MEMBER THIS THEY ARE ALL LOOKING DOWN FROM THE HOLES IN THE FLOORS OF HEAVEN WATCHING OVER US some still whispering to us carry on !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this song, because it inspires me to keep goin even though I lost my papa when I was 9. He was my best friend when I didn't have one. Luke, you're a good man with a great heart. Your story's inspired many. R.I.P. papa 02/12/07
LukeBryan You are an inspiration, to me and the world. I love your music and just learned of the loss of your two and only siblings. My deepest sympathy goes out to you. Thanks for sharing your message, of loss, hope, determination, and that regardless of what one has been through that it is important to keep your dreams alive and chase after them! #LukeBryan #Hope #NeverGiveUp #FollowYourDreams #Love #Country #CountryMusic #BelieveInYourself #Inspirational #Nevergiveuponyourdreams
it's always sad when something like that happens to someone. Im not the biggest fan of his music, but he is a great singer, has great talent. i say that, only because he does have songs(from his early career, and drink a beer) that NONE would say is NOT country. i dont really care for his music because he is starting to stray from what is true country to what is more of a pop country, but looking back neither type of music- pop, country, rap or anything is the same as it was as ten years ago. so all of you that say he is a awful singer need to adjust your words before you criticize his singing for 2 reasons. ONE- he is a great artist and writes great music. TWO- most people that say he sucks cant hit a single note without scaring someone for life, much less write a song. Props to Luke for opening, up sharing his story and inspiring thousands of kids and adults and trying to use his past to help them through their present deal of hard times
Thank you so much for sharing your story that drink a beer is based on! I lost my father less than 2 months ago and this song is something I can relate to and believe it or not this song means something to my 8 yr old son, he thinks of his grandfather when we hear it. It's beautiful and there couldn't be a more perfect song. I am incredibly sorry for your loss I could not imagine losing a sibling or a child. My father is hard enough and I'm still struggling but your song is definitely inspirational. I believe from not on, on the date my father passed we'll go to a pier my father went to with our Luke Bryan and I'll drink a beer for us all in honor of my father. Forever a Luke Bryan fan!, Suzi R. Houston, TX
Luke and his family have always been precious people on the inside as much as they are on the outside. I recall when his mom came to my mother-in-law and asked... "How do you move on from the loss of a child...more importantly...2?" I remember breaking down as they both broke down and consoled each other. My son and excited have hunted with Luke and it is a memory my son will have forever. Luke's dad helped me get a job. Gone are those day's now that I am divorcing my husband and trying to save the financial mess he left me in. Not fun just trying to save my home he maliciously quit paying on. But through that marriage I gained some wonderful friends for a little while and some beautiful memories. As I went to work everyday I was finally relieved to see his mother smile and hear her laughter after such heartache, because she worked at the office next to mine. Ms Laclaire... you taught me to keep fighting when you've giving up hope. I will get my smile back one day as you did. Mr Tommy and Eddie...Thank you for the opportunity to serve the Farmers of Lee County. I gained such joy and knowledge in my position that reflected how I was raised. Luke...never lose your focus and heart. Chris, Kelly and Lee are certainly looking down smiling. Take care and hugs.
He's still so down to earth and grounded, he's relatable and seems like a normal person which he is but we put these superstars on such high cloud that they seem superhuman, but he is so genuine and of course extremely talented. He is truly living his dream that he earned fully with dedication and hard work day in, day out. Anyone can achieve whatever they want, you get back in return what you put in for sure and of course a little bit of luck. He truly deserves every achievement and all that comes his way, his music is so good and all his songs get stuck in your head. So anyone out their if you truly want something go get it and never stop, let anyone tell you "you can't", "you'll never make it" or "give up". The only thing you should listen to that's negative meaning is "keep dreaming" because you should keep dreaming that one day you will eventually achieve your dream. Put all your effort, hardwork, commitment, determination and every waking minute into whatever your dream is, than maybe with a little luck and aligning stars you will like him be living the dream you dream every night that you yourself turned from only in your head to a true reality! Just my little 2 cents into this...thanks for reading and good luck! Post below what your dream is and maybe one day we all will be watching you on TH-cam here instead :)
My only brother died yesterday from an overdose. I stumbled across this video without searching for it and i believe God put this video in my path to encourage me I'm not alone.
I thought losing a dad at the age of me being six was bad its been almost five years since he died and I miss him and that song reminds me of him all the time I love you Luke Bryan
My son Andrew died March 20/2017......from a fentanyl overdose....he was not a drug addict but liked his pot and beer, oh yes and rum.....he was a hardworking young man.....had just turned 30, 6 weeks before he died.....he was an avid country music fan and Luke Bryan was one of his favorites.....especially "Drink a Beer"......that very song is in his memorial video and speaks volumes of who my son was.....
Barb Schultz oh honey I’m so sorry. I lost my two best male friends from the same and it changed my life forever. Losing a child though is unfathomable. I am so sorry-unfortunately there are so many women in your shoes in this country
Luke wow, you are a believer, I just wanted to say thank you for how youve touched my life, after three years of being off the horse, I'm getting back on, this coming Wednesday, after nine years of loosing my grandmother, sharing your story, it allowed me to finally grieve, I also struggle with fear when it comes to new situations, thats why singing with you on the app was one of many steps to help me see that fear can't hold me down. Your right bro god is good and he is gracious, and he is so faithful, I've been walking through a lot and hearing you say that again is a strong reminder of that. I continue to pray for you. God bless
Luke your story just hit home with me & I am so very sorry for the losses you have had in your life . I have had a few myself ! You & your music are inspiration to millions of people including me . You have a wonderful voice and your songs have meaning ...
This was the interview that originally made me check out his music a little more, the stuff not forced onto us on the radio...dude’s got some good stuff. Followed his career off and on since then, he puts on an amazing show as well. I like seeing artists truly enjoying doing what they love, and he’s definitely one of those. An undeserved scapegoat of an entire genre. Ridiculously nice when I met him as well. Some people enjoy fun music, some don’t. Absolutely nothing wrong with Luke or his music.
God Bless you and your Beautiful Family Luke♡♥♡♥ You're Awesome how you place your family first and give your nephew a home with your Wife and children when he lost both parents...Love that about you! Keep doing what you're doing, you're truly blessed and loved by many people! You're my inspiration to go on in life!!! Love an adoring fan♥♡♥♡
@lukebryan, I lost my mom June 20, 2002 and then my baby sister at a mere 33, she passed Nov 27, 2003..... and as you still don’t know my sister passed one year five months and seven days, my mom first day of summer and Celena was On Thanksgiving. Drink a beer is very heartfelt to me also.
The thought of losing a sibling is terrifying. For him to experience it twice ii different stages of his life, is just unimaginable. Yet, its inspiring to see him go through with life.
My brother was in a bad car accident back in November 2017 he was on life support for 8 days and then was determined brain dead and we took him off all support but we also donated his organs in hopes to helps others and he has helped multiple people including 2 little kids. We found out back in April that it wasn't just a accident that he was murdered so lukes song drink a beer really hits home and makes me think of my brother every time I hear the song. My brothers name was also Chris.
This song hits home.. I lost my baby brother when I was 5 years old, some say that at a young age you cant remember.. I still have the images of finding my baby brother drowning in our neighbors pool :'( Rest In Peace my little angel Manny Sanchez.. only 1 year old.. Thanks Luke for this song.
This interview does bring tears to my eyes every time i watch it. I have also lost a brother to ALS 2 1/2 yrs ago and 6 mos later almost to the day lost my mother to a devasting stroke. Never questioned God!! I know he has a plan for everyone. Not sure what it is and someday like it says in the song "Drink a Beer" it will all make sense to us. God Bless you Luke Bryan and all of your family!!! You have such a Beautiful family.
I just love LB he's my fav artist! I could listen to his songs all day long. He's such a down to earth person and an amazing artist! I'm sorry for your loss what a tragic story but that's how he got here today. God bless him and his family. I absolutely love "Drink A Beer". It's my fav song right now!!! Keep up the great job LB!
@@georgettejudkins9899 Thanks to you for loving and believing in my music. It's indeed a moral push, without the love and support from the fans like you I won’t be where I am today!☺️ You seem to be very awesome. Getting feedbacks always help me do better! Check my description for my email. You can write to me and share more of your thoughts!❤️☺️
Luke, your song Drink a beer touches me so deeply. Like yourself i experienced tragedies with the loss of my Father 5 years ago and recently lost my Brother 1 year ago both to suicide suffering with depression. I have a very close family with a Mother, 1 sister and two brothers left. My oldest brother and i were so close, loved camping, fishing and just hangin out out the lake drinkin and just talkin and tellin stories till we couldnt stand no more. I cant hide the emotions any time this song plays, not to mention that I love all your music. The song Blood brothers hits me pretty hard as well. Drink a Beer hits so hard and real with my own tragedies and it just takes me to a time when me and my Brother were so happy and had so much fun together. I am so sorry for your loss, I know from experience that it takes a toll. You have overcome those hard times to really do something positive with your life.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Luke and his family. It is so hard to loose a loved one. And he's right, you never fully get over it or move on. But for him to know that God is still there is the best thing ever. We just lost my mother in law in March 2017 due to cancer among other things as well. But we know that she is no longer in any pain and suffering. Which does help some as she was in a lot of pain the past few years dealing with the cancer. Also Congrats Luke on your beautiful family that you have started and created! You, your wife, and your boys were struck with the gorgeous stick. All of you are very beautiful!
I love Luke Bryan's rich singing voice tone! Talented young man. Touching to hear that he overcame tragedy with his family supporting his talent! Sad to hear he lost his brother to a car crash at 19 but then he brought tears to my eyes when he deeply shared the sudden unexplained loss of his sister. I lost my sister at her age of 27 (2 days after her birthday) to a rare brain tumor, second youngest person in the world to get diagnosed with that form of brain tumor that more common in people over the age of 70 years of age... This was in 2017. I lost my brother in 2008 and other sister in 2002 both at infancy ages. Life has thrown me several mountains to try and hop, but with 3 children of my own, there wasn't enough time to fully grieve. I grieve through song writing like I've always done since the age of sixteen. As Florida Georgia Line writes "MUSIC IS HEALING"---( Florida Georgia Line has full rights to that song). Hearing the song music is healing and watching this interview with Luke Bryan has helped get through sibling losses finally and helped in the healing process in grieving. Thank ABC news for posting this heartfelt interview!
Luke I had to watch this again. You are the Best singer ever and certainly the most Handsome. I know it was hard for you to open up about your family. It always is with us Country people. I admire you a lot. You are a wonderful man. May God keep on blessing you and your family. Amen
Luke,I love you so much you have inspired me so much. Thank you for your story I'm happy if your happy. I feel your pain. Sorry for your loss. This made me cry because I care about you and your sad I get sad your family's so sweet. Thank you for being my hero,God Bless You Thomas Luther Bryan.
It breaks my heart cause I know how it feels I loss my father to a heart attack at age 7 my mom pass in 96 a nephew in 98 a brother the day after thanksgiving in 2012 and another brother the day before thanksgiving in 2013 it being a hard life my daughter also loss a baby 6 months in a pregnant to Down syndrome. So I know it hard luke and it makes me cry 😢 to hear your story I love country music and singing but never had the backing to follow my dreams but you and cole both haves touches my heart with your songs I learn to sing you should be here and Drink a beer I do them karaoke a lot you and cole are my two favorite singer I love you and my heart goes out to you god bless you always you’re amazing man and a great husband and father and singer
I have no words....this was so unexpected to hear as I don't follow celebs personal lives but love listening to their music....this really hit me to the core. Without my siblings since that's all I have left but even if I had my Mom still, I would have nothing. I'm so sorry for this man.
Thanks Luke Bryan for sharing your story of loss. I feel your pain. I too have lost two loved ones in one year of each other, it's been hard. My Mom and her companion were two of my best friends.I miss them. I love your song Drink A Beer and in the interview you said if telling your story helped one person to get back up and move forward , all I can say is I'm trying, thanks again Luke , you are a good man.
This video and Luke are an inspiration to me. I thought my meager attempts to have a decent life and love my children were unsuccessful as I suffer at times from severe anxiety. Thank you, Luke for expressing that even very successful people go through the everyday trials and tribulations. God bless!
The song "Drink a Beer" was penned by Chris Stapleton! I lost my 35 year old daughter January of 2018. The song will always be the song I play when I'm watching the sunset, with a beer and a fishing pole. Miss you Mae. Ho'oponopono on!
I'm truly sorry to hear about your loss Luke. I know how hard that can be sometimes. But always know that God is with you, and that your siblings right now are with Him. They are in the best place they could ever be where everything is perfect. Stay strong and know that God is always and forever with you. Keep on singin buddy :)
This interview made me cry because I lost my big cousin who has always been like my brother, Daniel Huffman, December 6, 2004. I was 13 at the time. His death crushed my heart, soul, and faith! Ever since his death I've questioned God! I'm 28 at the time of writing this comment! I'll be 29 in May of 2020. Today is March 2, 2020. For the past almost 15 1/2 years, I've questioned my faith and God because I blame God the most for taking my cousin aka my hero, Daniel, away from me. Daniel died 2 weeks and 4 days shy of his 26th birthday! He was a Christmas Eve baby! Luke Bryan's song "Drink A Beer" is a song his friends mainly dedicated to him, but we, the family, agree 100% that the song needs to be dedicated to Daniel. My heart still breaks from the loss of Daniel!
Thank you Luke for sharing your story, I have had many family tragedies as well. You inspire me.. you have made a difference by sharing your story.. God bless!!
I respect Luke even more now than I did before. Luke has always been my #1 when it comes to music. He is definitely my favorite. Praying for Guidance and Strength for Luke and his Family.
At 22 I lost my dad ,at 24 I lost my mom thank god I had my beautiful husband by my side and my son . I was an only child and had no more parents .but I did have thank god the most beautiful husband a wife can ever have after 33 wonderful years of marriage I also lost my husband I found Luke Bryan song drink a beer and had it played at my husbands funeral thank you for this beautiful song .
Wow I am in tears!! I have so much in common with Luke! I lost my sister when she was 23 in a car accident! I was 11! Then I lost my oldest brother in 2005!! I got to see Luke in Bowling Green KENTUCKY at EA Diddle Arena on his first Headliner!! Tailgates & Tanlines!! He was awesome. Will always have that great memory!! The man could sing the phone book and I would be all ears!! Much Love & Respect
He's one of the very few that are themselves. He's the best entertainer in my book, and I've seen a heck of a lot concerts in my 40 yrs. He puts a smile on my face, and when my hubby is around...I dance in the driver seat and hubby is learning more about him..He likes that I can laugh about Luke's words, performances etc. Hope he keeps going and best wishes to your beautiful wife and son!
I’m so sorry Luke. I can’t imagine the pain. They live through you and your music. I’ve been to your concerts and I’ve met you in person more than once and you’re a wonderful man. Keep being you
Luke So sorry for your losses. I just watched several of your videos. I really like the way you have kids come on stage & sing with you. Y ou are a real blessing. God Bless.
Such an outstanding role model for our children to look up to. No matter the obstacles sonetimes we just have to keep on keeping on. So proud of luke for telling his story. It made you the man you are.
Thank you so much for sharing this video I suffer from PTSD, bipolar depression anxiety and panic attacks and your story has helped me to keep my faith and know everything is going to be alright.

My heart goes out to luke. I lost one of my older brothers Aug.22 of this year. I had 2 sisters one my twin who past away in 2009,and 2002. Then 2 other brothers one my oldest brother and one younger. So I know the grief of losing siblings. What sucks for Luke is losing his left him an only child. I'm so sorry Luke. Anyway I wanted to share my story with you. You never stop missing them. And there's never closure. We learn to live with it with God's blessing of exception and strength. God bless you and your parents.
I love the song "Drink a beer". I lost my younger and brother and sister in a car accident in 2008. I miss them so much. My sister was 20 and my brother was 16. My sister was only 15 months younger than me. She was my best friend. Thank you Luke. Love your # 1 fan.
Sorry for ur loss
Sweet Jesus, that's rough.... I can relate my friend... As a singer myself, if I didn't have my God given talent, I truly believe, I would have given up life completely! X
This song is also VERRRRRY dear to my heart. My cousin committed suicide 2 summers ago- VERY unexpected for us- and we always fished and drank beer and it still hits the deepest parts of my soul... Sorry to hear about your loss. Even tho this comment is 5 years old- I am sending you sooooo much love. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Many prayers and hugs. 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Prayers to the people in this comment section right, here
I said goodbye to my son yesterday. He died of what we believe was an overdose of drugs. He was 34 and his name is Jay.This interview really touched me deeply.
my condolences Judy
Matthew DeFeo Thank you.I am hoping that by speaking out,I can possibly make someone out there who may see this to realize that drugs will take you out .If it helps to save a life,I will talk openly about my son and the demons he battled.I have cried a river since last week for his young life.May he finally find peace.

I lost my mom Christmas 2016. I lost my brother July 2018 and lost my boyfriend October 2018.
Losing my brother was hard...I can't imagine losing my sister too. Luke, you sure have been thru it. Props to you for sharing your pain to help others.
Shiralee Obx God bless and best to you.
HUGS !!!
I think Luke has the most beautiful wife that Nashville has ever seen. She's knock down beautiful. It's not a fake beauty it's a natural beautiful.

Why do y’all know all this stuff? Do yall have a job or do yall just sit there on y’all a phone stalking country stars and their wives all day?
@@hopeeggersdorf240 Lol. Yeah, they seem to be fanatical.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
👍👍
Luke i suffer with depression and anxiety your songs help me get through life thank you so much for the songs keep them coming
Finally somebody in mainstream music who came out and gave a shout out to the Allmighty
Amen
Drink a beer is great song & it is very powerful
countrygirl countrymusiclover completely uncalled for.
Never thought a song called "Drink A Beer" would have so much more depth than what the title portrays.
I know! I feel so bad!
Man, great guy. Don't get me wrong, I love all country Alan Jackson, brooks and Dunn etc, but I love how modern country is evolving. And Luke Bryan is doin a damn good job of keeping the music fresh sounding
but its also losing its counrty feel as well
I agree to that as well.
Oh for sure, on Reverbnation theres still lots of Traditional sounding country music in the rankings. Its pretty awesome
As I have always thought of this guy, he is a class act, and what definitely appears to be a great husband, father and all around family guy. Good luck to him and his family and much continued success.
Class a hi, love you 🥰 😅🎉
Not now, but love ya!!!!
I'm so sorry to you both. Ugh. I cannot imagine. I would never be the same. 💔
Luke, you're music just got a whole lot more meaningful to me ♡
Asked 😢😢😮what
I lost my 20 year old nephew last year then when we thought it could not get any worse my 25 year old niece died 5 weeks later! They we're brother and sister Thank you Luke for helping me thru such a hard time!
Good grief man...I've never been a huge fan of his style, but I just gained a ton of respect for him.
i have some natural real respect for all these singers that sing & live their real lives all while singing their songs & going threw some up's & downs of their songs...
Lol at his expression at 3:47 "Uhhhhh, thanks mom hahaha."
What a humble, mellow dude.
A amazing man. Godbless you in famiy
I lost my brother in 1997. You never heal from it. I think about my brother everyday! R.I.P. WILLIAM LEE MANOR!!!! I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU SO MUCH!!!
Lost mine in 2012 true it's still an open wound.
That will not heal.
I sobbing so hard omg 😭 My father passed away on Christmas night. I'm so glad I can look up to a strong role model like Luke ❤️
Troye Sivan I feel so bad for you hope you feel better
His anniversary is coming up! What are you gonna get him? 😂😂
Emma Watson gosh I know ur pain.my mom passed away this passed Christmas 2017.God bless ur in my prayers
Jesus needed some help
So sorry for your loss i just loss my dad on 1/16/2020
It was really sad when he said my two best siblings were gone in a flash I almost started crying hang in there luke just remember all of your fans love you and are always with you and remember your brother and sister will always be with you to
HE & HIS WIFE & FAMILY ALL KNOW THEY R ALWAYS IN THIER HEARTS NO MATTER WHAT & IT TRULY SHOW'S THREW THEIR LIVES.............
I'm so touched on his sad story. Made me cry . 😢Luke is such a handsome guy . Great performance and so talented. LOVE YOU LUKE ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mr. Bryan, God has you and your beloved family, both those that we can see and we cannot see, at His bosom. Lord have mercy on us all. Amen.
God bless this ole country boy!!!
I’m so sorry Nicole, I often wonder why some people experience so many tragedies in their lifetime.....yet most never do? It doesn’t seem fair..
Awe!! So sorry!😭. But my b-day is on April 21! So your sister and husband died right after my b-day. So sorry!
I also lost my brother and this song connects so much to me.. I listen to it at least move a day.
I lost my brother too and the song really hit me.
same for me it went deep.
This makes you just love Luke Bryan even more!!!!
& all the others that carried on their songs as well from their heart's singing & really living it all from songs of the past & now & coming GOD BLESS AMERICA NO MATTER WHAT OR WHERE OR WHOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love this song, because it inspires me to keep goin even though I lost my papa when I was 9. He was my best friend when I didn't have one. Luke, you're a good man with a great heart. Your story's inspired many. R.I.P. papa 02/12/07
It’s 2019 now, He hasn’t changed a bit! Really nice guy. I like him on the “Voice!”
Sharon Hunter 😂
Sharon Hunter
He's not on the Voice. He's on American Idol.
That would be funny because Blake would argue with him lol
Wow, I broke down watching this. Luke Bryan is my star and always will be.

Ur awesome chick
1,000% agree
Drink a Beer!!! Lost my little Brother 4 years ago and this is the song I listen to when me and Kenneth need a minute! Love from South Mississippi!🙏🇺🇸
it's always sad when something like that happens to someone.
Forever a Luke Bryan fan!,
Suzi R.
Lost two brothers the song drink a beer really touches my heart.l also love to hear my husband sing it he has a wonderful voice. Love your music.
How did he die from a fentanyl overdose if he wasn't a drug addict?
Barb Schultz oh honey I’m so sorry. I lost my two best male friends from the same and it changed my life forever. Losing a child though is unfathomable. I am so sorry-unfortunately there are so many women in your shoes in this country
Nicholas Krozel Kids don’t necessarily tell their parents everything as you well know.
This was one of my favorite songs for my best friend who died suddenly from a brain aneurysm. Thank you for sharing your story Luke.
God bless
Thanks for your love & support and for being a great fan! You're super appreciated 🙂👍
Where are you watching from?
How could you not love this man? So humble and precious!
I lost my only sibling in 85..my brother. Im crying as im watching this. He is so right. God can help u thru anything!
I still have the images of finding my baby brother drowning in our neighbors pool :'(
Rest In Peace my little angel
Manny Sanchez.. only 1 year old..
Thanks Luke for this song.
its so sad when you lose someone you love but you have to keep them in your heart , I love Luke Bryant
I will give him this tho he's a pretty cool down to earth dude
Wtf is wrong with u?? He been through so much.
countrygirl countrymusiclover You are psycho. Please get some help
I lost my Brother 5 years ago and it's still hard to talk about him. LUKE is right you never truly move beyond it!

He is amazing and ALLLL country doesn't get more country than him :)
Lost my sister and I can't imagine losing a sister and a brother. God bless him. It never gets better but you just have to keep going...music helps.
i just lost my brother a week before thanksgiving and each time drink a beer comes on, i think of him. RIP Anthony Ryan Cunningham
You are the
Best singer ever and certainly the most Handsome.

Keep on singin buddy :)
he was my first ever country singer i listened to and i’m still in love.
I lost the love of my life Nov 5th of last year and thanks to Luke Bryan's music I am getting through these hard times.

I lost my brother too and drink a beer just make's me think of him. Keep singing luke love it!
Thank you Luke for sharing your story, I have had many family tragedies as well. You inspire me.. you have made a difference by sharing your story.. God bless!!
I absolutely love his being so humble! Just adore him!!!
