Legler nailed his take on Nuggets Wolves. This is basically a championship game. The stars for both teams will get theirs. Whoever's starter pieces and bench pieces step up will win the series, and the Chip.
5:12 The biggest flip: eject Embiid after his kung fu game (having Robinson, kicking nuts twice, hip check offensive foul). This would have been a sweep.
I must have missed the Denver-MN game where Gobert got played off the floor this season. If KD at the 5 can’t play him off the floor, I think that take can be officially put to rest.
As a nuggets fan, this is the scariest series to me. Especially if jamal doesn't look like himself again, this is the only team that looks like it can hold us down a little even at our best, their individual defenders and athleticism will always be hard to deal with.
Jesus effing Christ....If you've watched even ONE Min v Den game, you'd know that KAT guards Jokic and Gobert guards AG. They've had their heads stuck up Lebron and Steph's ass for so long, they don't know WHAT is going on.
Also, recycling the old rudy getting Playedoff the court when smaller lineups stretch the spacing............. Right after he Guarded Well past the perimeter against scrubs like (checks notes) Beal, Book, and KD Breathtaking, really
I'm pretty sure they tried gobert on jokic in the playoffs last year, and I think he's wondering what would work, not what they do. Legs literally constantly talks about the nuggets
Legs must not have watched a single second of Gobert guarding in space this season cause the narrative that he’s going to get played off the floor is laughable at this point
The Bucks held the Pacers under 100 points twice in this series without their best defender. I think they can stay in front of the Pacers fully healthy especially if they play some of the younger players on their bench
If the Pacers can get defensive rebounds and make outlet passes while Knicks are crashing boards, it could be problematic and force Knicks to make some adjustments.
Yeah good chance for that. I also think with Jamal Murray being a little injured, along with the Nuggets not having as much bench depth at the guard spots as last season, a guy like Jaden McDaniels could really do some damage defensively. Jamal was struggling with Austin Reeves and D’Angelo Russell, let’s see if he can get a little more healthy with the long layoff. Whoever wins this series probably has a 50% chance of winning the whole thing.
Lets forget that MPjr can win a game himself if hes streaky and being fed.. nobody on wolves can stop that or score with it. Mcdaniels would get exposed
@@truebrowncanadian mcDaniels will not be on MPJ a lot I think, I think he'll be on Murray. Of MPJ plays as ridiculous as he did against Denver the Wolves will be in trouble but I don't he will. They've got amazing length so they'll make it somewhat more difficult for him I believe
I’d say it’s a tossup, but I’m choosing wolves in six. They just have really good wing defenders, I think Jamal Murray is a little banged up. He was struggling with more average type defensive guards in the Lakers series until the last part of the games. Jaden McDaniels, Anthony Edwards, I think they’re going to give them some problems. I will say, whoever wins this series will probably win the finals.
@@japethegrape1146 guess you didn't pay attention to denvers last year run and that murray was out quite some time this season as well also MPjr looks much better than he did last year, only problem would be how braun n watson fare
Why the Phili series to point out 10 possessions to flip the series Legs? You could pick 2 in the Laker series but your attitude was vastly different there.
True. And the way to think about variance is that flipping the coin could still go into the favor of the winner. That means Murray could have shot his usual percentage and it would be a sweep. Or Maxey doesn't hit game tying shots. It could go either way
That last part is stretching it. Players underperform and over perform (MPJ) all the time but if he’s saying 10 possessions here and there would flip the series as if Phili could have easily won when the the margins for the Lakers were even tighter is bias based on the words he had for that series.
@@anand13I disagree. The feeling in the game between LA and Denver was never that the Lakers were actually really close to winning, even if Murray hadn't made that shot it would have been Denver in 6. With the sixers there were loads of momentum shifts that if they had played in their favour, they would have won. Just purely looking at point differential doesn't really give you a good viewpoint.
PatBev needs to get 5+ game suspension and pay for the fans season tickets next year (like a civil settlement). Just imagine, someone whips a basketball at your wife's face unprovoked? I'm throwing hands. The security should have removed PatBev.

Minnesota is a bit hyped up. I'd like to see them battle tested, a close game with no momentum and they find a way to win. Denver thrives on late game execution. LA played well enough to win every game while Denver played one of their worst basketball series shooting wise... And they still ended the Lakers in 5 games. Im a Minnesota fan, but expectations have to be dumbed down. I just want to see them compete at the highest level possible. If they win, amazing. If they lose, it will still be a great runway point for next season.
The only reason denver won the series against the lakers because last second shots of jamal Murray, lakers dominated the nuggets, if only darvin ham knew how to coach, lakers would have won.

If KD at the 5 for Phoenix cannot "play Gobert off the floor" than nobody can play him off the floor and this dumb narrative needs to finally die. Gobert finally has a strong group of defenders behind him so he can switch out to the perimeter without worrying about a bunch of traffic cones behind him constantly giving up layups and dunks. Peyton Watson has a very good chance of receiving the AG treatment on defense as being "guarded" by Rudy so he can stay close to the rim.
