Yes if Steve Kerr wakes up. Jackson-Davis needs to play WAY more. Look at how the Dubs opened up a good lead to start the 3rd then he never played again. This should have been an EASY victory. Goes too small with zero rim protector too much. Steph bails Kerr out all the time.
This is not a fluke by any means. But ultimately, I think their lack of size will hurt them come playoff time. Against the Clippers we saw Zubac have a tremendous game, the Cavs dominated them and I think Mazzula just didn't take advantage of it just because of their own style of play. So I wouldn't put them as true contenders yet.
There are levels to this. There is a difference between Luka and the truly transcendent super stars like Steph and Lebron. The thing we never have to discuss with those guys is, if they are in shape. They never cheat the game.

Kyrie is the most efficient scorer on the mavericks. Kyrie is almost a 50/40/90 scorer every single year. There should never be a game where Luka takes more than twice the shots of Kyrie when Kyrie is healthy. Hopefully this is Kyrie's last year in Dallas since he can opt out of his contract.

Think Dallas is a great spot for Klay and in hindsight he will be happy he left GS. Why would they have a better chance? GS easily looks like the better team right now and their depth is more likely to carry them in the regular season and prevent injuries. They are way more likely to get an easy first round matchup. They’re probably the favorites to get the 1 seed. On top of all of that they have so much flexibility and assets to make a trade. They are honestly primed for a WCF run as long as they don’t run into Denver before then.
