what is the fever coach's fascination with these short guards - no wnba team with two short guards in at the same time has ever won a championship - you are so close to getting this right - please put Hull and Berger in the game - coach said after last game she was going to look at the film and see who was in the game the 3rd quarter that closed the score against the nyl at home - it was CC , GB as the leading guards playing very well on offense and defense - just look at the tape - play the players that know how to win ball games - it is not that hard unless you're playing something that is not basketball and you don't care about winning
Kelsey Mitchell is not going to pass to Caitlin Clark, period - if you give Lexi Hull & Grace Berger 1/2 the minutes Kelsey Mitchell and Erica Wheeler are getting the fever would have won the game - the more minutes Grace Berger gets the more you would have beat nyl - your getting the right idea, now take the final step - with the core team of gb,ks, cc, ab, Lh - NOW start working on the pick and roll and let the core team get time together, win ball games!

CC is a real guard that girl got a big heart,some of the other teammates not playing attention and missing easy baskets but they learning ❤❤
I noticed the same thing. CC is transitioning to full time PG well...most of her teammates have had rocks for hands. Some of those feeds coming in hot so they need to have their heads on a swivel at all times.

Clark should have had like 4 more assists in this game. And i really think Boston needs to lose about 10 lbs. she has no lift to her shots at all
@@turinhorse Boston should be fine in another 2 weeks- she definitely showed up out of shape for the season. I would use Benle more often in the interim, I think she has a lot of potential. And, I agree, Clark should have had around 15 assists in that game, but her teammates either missed easy shots or in the case Mitchell, she gave up open 3s and opted for drives, which was strange because she is a decent 3 shooter.
The Fever are a truly terrible team. CC appears to be the only shooter on the team. Has anyone counted the air balls and failed layups. Very difficult to watch.
One more Clark and this team would be unstoppable
How come there's no screen for Clark? Fever definitely miss Kate Martin in their roster.
Better game for CC but it also goes to highlight the lack of team dynamic on both ends of the floor for the Fever. They are lazy and don't protect the 3 ball on defense, and CC doesn't have a core to work with on Offense. They need a big to run a 2 man with CC to get pressure off of her, rim run, screen an roll CATCH THE BALL all that. CC can create on her own but with help and a strong core this team could be better than they are showing us.

Mitchell and some others misses to many layups to be attempting 3s. Dawn Staley could straighten this team out some players would get into their feelings but that’s okay to many players are playing out of position and not creating space for their shooters some fever players would rather lose than miss being the highlight and I’m not talking Caitlin, how can you watch yourself play that bad on film and not make improvements to play team ball

Terrible camera work! Half the time, the ball isn't in the picture.
If I was the coach I would be telling them no one is going home tonight…after the plane lands everyone to the gym…you are going to do nothing by shot until every shot you make hits goes in until you reach a hundred…if you miss one you start over. Then you are also going to be practicing catching a ball because for some reason you can’t seem to catch a damn ball even easy passes…those turnovers are do to that…it’s missing passes and can’t make a shot…what’s the point of when you got the ball if you can’t get it to go in the hoop. Plus knock off all the fancy layups and just get the ball in the hoop that’s part of the problem.
Lastly if Kelsi wants to play on a team of one then she can sit down because this is a team sport and unless she can pass the the ball when needed instead of forcing to get fancy to try and get a basket and still not get it there is no point for her to be on the court even if she is the only one else making shots…we have other bench players that can also shot to replace her with…put in grace or Celeste…Celeste for sure she was one of the top defenders in college and can hit the 3…let’s see what she can do at the rate these vets are playing at…can’t catch, can’t shot and can’t even pass the ball wanting to be a how off…so over the diva tactics going on…grow up people…

Why is the video screwed up.
I figured out the equation. All of the offense comes from Clark. The rest of the 4 on the floor should strictly be used as rebound and screening zombies to feed the ball to Clark to shoot 3's and drive. Have Clark put up 50 shots a game. This scenario would play out better than this current chaos.
The fever coach threw Clark off and under pressure egotistical coaches cause more problems

CC is a rookie and it shows. She came out doing good. Got in rhythm then starting doing too much. 3 turnovers in a row that lead to 8 points. All that on top of giving up 3 buckets. At the very least you take the ball out her hands for a bit as a coach. If you not a top 7 pick you getting sat down
Teammates of cc is no good and the center is to slow to move
She came into the season out of shape. She will get there in 10 days or so I think.
Fever needs to make their close shots, not playing in control
The coach should make the team let Clark shoot more , Jealousy will not win games
I think the starting line up should be CC, Berger, AB, Fagbenie and Smith. Everyone else can play to give those 5 a breather, that’s it. And Wheeler and Samuelson are no threats, especially on offense, and need to sit down and watch. Wheeler can’t finish at the basket and Samuelson shoots like she is cross eyed, the ball barely touching the rim at times.
They need to trade Samuelson..she is awful on D too. Also Trade Wallace, Wheeler , and Mitchell (she doesn't like Clark so she needs to go) for a swing/3 and a back up PG. I think the starting 5 needs to be CC at the point, then a 3 pt specialist they get for Samuelson on trade (CC is always doubled, easy 3 shooting for a dead eye shot), Smith, Swing/PF they get from trading Wallace and Mitchell, and Boston. I would have Benle playing a lot off the bench. In other words, I would re-tool this team top to bottom around CC.

I hate to admit that Christie Sides did a better job today by putting CC at pg. Sides was using more of a read and react mixed with Princeton. I prefer to use a read and react with a 4 out similar to motion offense

At times Mitchel just is dribbling between her legs with no purpose or intent to go to the basketball or shake off the defender. She looks like she is just going through some dribbling drill outside the 3 pt line.
