look at Affolter at 47:00 sneaking in there for the rebound. just great hustle and instinct for the ball. doesn't get enough credit but she's deserves it. glad she's in the starting line up.

I’m not going to lie….everyone really really has to work together and start shooting and making the shots. Very very few points from other teammates. I believe if everyone was shooting well, they would have blew WV out of the water right from the first tipoff. Please Hawks, don’t leave it all to Clark. This was a bit of a scare of a game. But I get that pressure from every opponent is up 200 degrees. Wish Staulkey and O’Grady just had one or two more years of experience just to get stronger and more confident like Monica did. The’re doing a good job but as the tournaments get more tough, they’ll need every ounce of muscle and experience to keep advancing and they need every teammate to make those shots we’re so used to seeing. This was a too little close for comfort.

West Virginia tried to do what SC successfully did a short while later: crowd, crowd, crowd, crowd. Iowa was on slightly better form this night, but still below their best. Is that because of the crowding, or was the crowding successful because they weren't firing on all four? Such a small difference between loss and victory.
