What do you do if the ink cartridges do not slide to the middle upon opening the cartridge door? How do I get them to slide to the middle where I can see them and change them?

Turning Canon printer on should automatically make them slide to the middle...they won't do that if the printer is off...if it's on and it doesn't slide to the middle then contact Canon

@@303electronics I figured it out. You just need to have them sliding trays all the way in and then open up the door. Then it opens up fine.

Because my printer has an error message displayed, my ink cartridge carrier won’t come to the center. Do you know how to access the ink cartridge?

In this printer, you can gently move the carrier manually. Reach in to grab it and pull. Make sure printer is unplugged from electricity

Hi there! I have the new model of this printer the TR4520 and replaced the cartridges with refilled ones but the printer won't reset the ink levels. any advice? TIA

They will not show the ink levels usually. I do not know how to reset them, I'm sorry. That is the downside of the refilled or aftermarket ink cartridges. It is best to have a spare set for when you will need a new ink cartridge.
