How do you think a bigger exhoust affects your bike... Did it fit properly and is the sound louder with or quieter with a bigger one?
Go add the vm26 30mm carb like I did with my stomp z140
I think the db x1 may be the best candidate for the ZS 190cc engine swap, especially because it has the oil cooler mounts built in.
They all now come with the plate for the cooler... i got a 125 with them
The new DBX-1s oil cooler runs from the crankcase instead of the head. So you could actually run dual oil coolers on the new style motors if you wanted.

There's issues I found with the silencers I bought! The 38mm fits but is big(meaning inner diameter) and 28mm is too small and u have to modify it I can post both links if you'd like

Would you recommend this pit bike? I'm just needing a good bike to hit small trails, and maybe pop a couple of wheelies every now and then ;) This is literally the only Chinese dirt bike / pit bike I could find for under $1,000 that has an oil cooler. That oil cooler makes a big difference in throttle response, HP, and speed! I know there's also a SSR 140 TR, but it's practically the same exact bike, but $800 more. I just don't feel like shelling out $2,000 for a Japanese dirt bike, and something breaks on it and it costs more than a Chinese pit bike to repair.
It's a great bike if u do the upgrades to it right away out of the box it's a dog but it's a good runner and rides nice too
How did you get the muffler to fit. I got the 28mm muffler and the hole on it is too small.

Hey guys whats up. I have the same bike. The best mod for performance increase is the NIBBI 26mm carburetor. Trust me it turns into a different bike. It costs a little over $100 bucs but the performance gains is worth it. I did put an aftermarket exhaust tip like you guys did but nothing changed the performance like the racing carb. The throttle response is crazy you feel the power immediately. Every time I take it to the trails the rear spins it has to much torque for trails so I might get the 16 inch rear tire for it for better traction. Take care fellas.

Dbx1 is cheaper for sure brand new. TTR is a good bike little more money and not as peppy as the 140. Either one is good but parts r more readily available for yamaha

You will look like you are standing still vs. The 600s and 1000s but i don't compare apples and oranges like you do. If you want to actually go fast get a 1000cc the we can talk. Your 450 is extremely slow.

It's louder and performance in mid to high range throttle is improved. Very snappy.
I work at tao..these engines are cheap as hell online...i just got denied for my drz400 loan..im gonna grab an x1 just to mess with it. This is a decent idea. Im gonna try to get mine plated...while i buy sm parts to build a drz from scratch.

@@Fdmartinez419 dont jump them. Change the oil(castrol gtx 10w30) every tank of gas..my son dumped both his units more tha. Once. We had them until he outgrew them...all i had to do was a carb and a starter on his bike once. We are doing black friday at birdys. I beleive its still 100$ off this year.
@@raymondnoodels7775 ok, I was looking at the tao 140 dirbike, for my gf she's never really riden before so this will be her first bike, I figured it would be perfect something for her to learn on and thrash around until she's comfortable and wants something bigger.
Since I’ve had the Tao 140 , I’ve put 2 different suspension/shocks on the bike. Both of the aftermarket shocks (same exact size as stock) makes the bike sit WAY LOW, bottom of seat actually touching tire once you sit on bike. So I’ve been through not 1 but 2 shocks. Only the stock one makes it sit up at correct height that the bike came as.
Someone please help, I need a new shock because the stock one is SUPER bouncy, feels blown.

U actually need a 32mm not a 38 I have the same bike and a 32mm fits perfect no gap.
Biggest different in Chinese and Japanese the trans/shift forks are soft as hell
Yeah I noticed that. I had a ssr 125 engine always ran strong but it went into gear hard and would occasionally pop out of second gear
I replaced the carburetor on my 140 but it still bogs with throttle wide open...anything u did to make it run better?
Main jet clean? Adjust needle clip lower to richen a little maybe? If u can find bigger main jet that could help or air filter clogged??
@@bearkreekboys yea I cleaned the old one and adjusted the clip and did the same for the new one new air filter ..same issue..could it be running to rich? Maybe I'll try adjusting the air screw

One if these days I'm going to get an apollo rfz x18 or x19(headlight is nice), or a coolster m125, or a tao db x1, or BMS pro 125 and do the zs 190 engine swap and 4 valve anima head. Trying to decide which bike is the best value. Honestly, I would prefer the RXF 190 if I could get it imported from Canada for a good deal.

you're going to need a voltage regulator rectifier and tap into the ac voltage coming out of the stator and then you can put lights on it

I was very close to getting this bike but I've come to a conclusion that I think getting the 140cc thumpstar would be better and just save a little more, and why didnt you put an authentic mikuni on
It was cheap and I didn't want to spend as much on it
It has all the same components is a genuine Mikuni and acts the same

@@bearkreekboys I never used a genuine mikuni before however I have the same exact bike I bought it a month ago except that it's the orange version. The cheap carbs are ok but after I installed the NIBBI carburetor on my DBX1 it made a world of difference. It feels almost like I added a big bore kit.
