Reason why corporate managers dont want female secretary is mainly due to possible sexual harassment litigations. Many times, the job needs working to late night. It will be difficult for the manager to take care of all safety arrangements for females as per existing laws in India. Also, there is possibility that the employee may misuse her gender rights against the a manager in case of any dissent or criticism. This is a genuine issue I myself discussed many times with managers I know. In IT and Technology field, this is not a big threat due to a large group working together. Their, people do give opportunities for women to work.

അത്തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സംഭവങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ അത്തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള കേസുകൾ മറ്റു വിഷയങ്ങളിലെ കേസുകളുടെ (ഉദാഹരണം വസ്തുതർക്കം, അടിപിടി) അതേ ശതമാനത്തിൽ മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളു. 2-6% വരെ. മാത്രമല്ല ഗാർഹിക പീഡനവും ബലാത്സംഗവും ഉൾപ്പടെ വളരെ അധികം കേസുകൾ റിപ്പോർട്ട് പോലും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല എന്ന വസ്തുതയും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു. പലപ്പോഴും സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളെ ഇത്തരം വളരെ ന്യൂനപക്ഷമായ കള്ള കേസുകൾ കൊണ്ട് പൂർണമായി റദ്ദ് ചെയ്യണം എന്നാണ് വിരുദ്ധരുടെ വാദം. താങ്കൾക്ക് നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്ന ദുരവസ്ഥയിൽ വിഷമം ഉണ്ട്

Like in my case, the majority will not go to court since we cannot drag old parents to court. We will have to simply surrender to their demands. If you have any doubt simply ask any divorce lawyer. In my case, my opposite lawyer had the audacity to 'advice' me saying its a very normal tactic everyone uses and don't make it complicated. I am not denying the necessity of the law. This is one of the many reasons why feminism doesn't get popular among common people.We cannot simply blame people for that.

It also launched several conditional cash transfer schemes such as Balika Samriddhi Yojana and Dhanalakshmi Scheme. But the whole system is changed against one , the role of law, the police criminal procedure, ; this is the crime. Eg:if I make a struggle with my wife verbally and physically, then nobody ask the reason and who started first, all laws and paper are against one gender. Reservation is there for woman and low caste because they are the least to get a high status job. Woman are often married off at a very yound age and it will be difficult or sometimes impossible for her to have that patricular job. And reservation is there for proper representation. And i agree that calling someone "da" or "di" is not something to be appreciated. It should stop and everyone should start calling a person by their name. Those rules where a girl doesn't get beaten in legs or ass are there because of years of struggle and awareness to create that little kid are not aware of their rights and they can be sexually exploited. In early days, luttle girls often get molested and sexually harassed by they will say it as a punishment. And one thing to remember boys and girls have different sexual areas, where for a girl is her breast, and private area, where for boys is only their private area. Even if a girl file a complaint and if it lack evidence the case then the case will not move further and it will most likely to drop out. I dont know why no one is saying that majority of men have a adavantage on it, most of the case will lack proper evidence and they can easily get away from that committed crime look at govinda swami, and even if someone file a complaint against you, then you can file a defamation case and article 182. Your rights be saved.
Yes agree. The direction of modernity is towards gender equality. But the speed each societies move towards gender equality would be different. It will take more time for a patriarchal society like India and even much more time for Pakistan & certain theocratic nations.

ഞാൻ പഠിച്ചത് mechanical engineering ആണ് ഞങ്ങളുടെ കൂടെ 89 ആണ്കുട്ടികളുടെ കൂടെ 1 പെണ്കുട്ടി മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ, അതുപോലെ 12 വർഷത്തെ ജോലി അനുഭവത്തിൽ site engineer എന്ന position ൽ work ചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു lady യെ മാത്രമാണ് ഞാൻ കണ്ടത് അതും അവർ ഒരു സമയം കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ procurement department ലേക്ക് മാറി, ഒന്നുകിൽ ചില ജോലികൾ സ്ത്രീകൾക്ക് ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റില്ല എന്ന ധാരണ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പ്രായോഗിക തലത്തിൽ ചെയ്യാൻ എന്തെങ്കിലും ബുദ്ധിമുട്ട് കാണും (എല്ലാവർക്കും ഒരേ പോലെ ചെയ്യാൻ പറ്റുന്നതാണെങ്കിൽ അതിലേക്ക് സ്വാഭാവികമായും കൂടുതൽ ആളുകൾ കടന്നു വരില്ലേ)

ഇന്ത്യൻ സാഹചര്യത്തിൽ ഫെമിനിസം വലിയ രീതിയിൽ തിരിച്ചടി നേരിടാൻ പല കറങ്ങാനാൽ ഉണ്ട്. അതിൽ ഒരു പ്രധാന കാരണം സാമൂഹികമായി ഉയർന്നു നിൽക്കുന്ന സ്ത്രീകൾ ഫെമിസ്നിട് മൂവേമെന്റ്സും ലോ യും വളരെയധികം ദുരുപയോഗം ചെയ്യുന്നു എന്നുള്ളത് തന്നെയാണ്. എന്റെ തന്നെ അനുഭവത്തിൽ , പരസ്പരം സമ്മതത്തോടെ ഡിവോഴ്സ് തീരുമാനിചു , കുട്ടിയുടെ കസ്ടടി ഷെയർ ചെയ്യണം എന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടപ്പോൾ അടുത്ത ദിവസം 68 വയസ്സുള്ള എന്റെ അച്ഛന് വരെ sexual harassment നോട്ടീസ് വന്നതാണ്.. അവസാനം ഗത്യന്തരമില്ലാതെ എന്റെ മോളെ വിട്ടു കൊടുക്കേണ്ടി വന്നു. കുടുംബ കോടതിയിൽ പോയാൽ ഇത് എന്ത് മാത്രം ഗുരുതരമാണെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാവും. ഇത്തരം ഹൈപ്പോക്രസി കാരണം ആണ് താഴെ തട്ടിൽ വളരെ ആവശ്യമുള്ളവർക്ക് പോലും എത്തിക്കപ്പെടാൻ കഴിയാത്ത രീതിയിൽ ജനങളുടെ ഇടയിൽ ഫെമിസ്നിസ്റ് മൂവേമെന്റിനു പ്രായോഗികമായി എതിർപ്പ് നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്നത്.
അത്തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള സംഭവങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ അത്തരത്തിൽ ഉള്ള കേസുകൾ മറ്റു വിഷയങ്ങളിലെ കേസുകളുടെ (ഉദാഹരണം വസ്തുതർക്കം, അടിപിടി) അതേ ശതമാനത്തിൽ മാത്രമേ ഉള്ളു. 2-6% വരെ. മാത്രമല്ല ഗാർഹിക പീഡനവും ബലാത്സംഗവും ഉൾപ്പടെ വളരെ അധികം കേസുകൾ റിപ്പോർട്ട് പോലും ചെയ്യുന്നില്ല എന്ന വസ്തുതയും നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു. പലപ്പോഴും സ്ത്രീകളുടെ അവകാശങ്ങളെ ഇത്തരം വളരെ ന്യൂനപക്ഷമായ കള്ള കേസുകൾ കൊണ്ട് പൂർണമായി റദ്ദ് ചെയ്യണം എന്നാണ് വിരുദ്ധരുടെ വാദം.

Like in my case, the majority will not go to court since we cannot drag old parents to court. We will have to simply surrender to their demands. If you have any doubt simply ask any divorce lawyer. In my case, my opposite lawyer had the audacity to 'advice' me saying its a very normal tactic everyone uses and don't make it complicated. I am not denying the necessity of the law. This is one of the many reasons why feminism doesn't get popular among common people.We cannot simply blame people for that.

1)In my degree class time most of our lady teachers calls her boy students ( Da) but but any of gense teachers would't call a lady students in such words.
2 ) upto my +2 level education, for each of punishment, the slap for boys always on back and legs but not girls.

It also launched several conditional cash transfer schemes such as Balika Samriddhi Yojana and Dhanalakshmi Scheme.

I admit that womans get abuse. But the whole system is changed against one , the role of law, the police criminal procedure, ; this is the crime.
Eg:if I make a struggle with my wife verbally and physically, then nobody ask the reason and who started first, all laws and paper are against one gender. Is that crime

@@Firesaga5064 we are creating equality not by putting other gender down. But we have to break certain societal rules to achieve it. Reservation is there for woman and low caste because they are the least to get a high status job. Woman are often married off at a very yound age and it will be difficult or sometimes impossible for her to have that patricular job. And reservation is there for proper representation. And i agree that calling someone "da" or "di" is not something to be appreciated. It should stop and everyone should start calling a person by their name.
Those rules where a girl doesn't get beaten in legs or ass are there because of years of struggle and awareness to create that little kid are not aware of their rights and they can be sexually exploited. In early days, luttle girls often get molested and sexually harassed by they will say it as a punishment.
And one thing to remember boys and girls have different sexual areas, where for a girl is her breast, and private area, where for boys is only their private area. Even if a girl file a complaint and if it lack evidence the case then the case will not move further and it will most likely to drop out. I dont know why no one is saying that majority of men have a adavantage on it, most of the case will lack proper evidence and they can easily get away from that committed crime look at govinda swami, and even if someone file a complaint against you, then you can file a defamation case and article 182. Your rights be saved.
