What I NEVER see anyone speak of, is Dylan's ability -- as an impeccable musician -- to sing more lyrics than it looks like he will have time to fit into a verse or a bar, and yet, he always nails the line and in the designated amount of time that the bar requires. I am a musician of 63 years (guitar player) and music listener since 1950 ... and I have NEVER, EVER seen/heard anyone do that. And The King of Rock and Roll could be divided between Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly.
This is very likely a fictional characterization of Harrison's so-called favorites. I know for a fact that one of his all-time favorites is missing from this list. If it sounds like BS it probably is.
To me and many others Bob Dylan is over-rated and controversial. He originally got his early influences from social musical gems like Pete Sieger, Paul Robeson, Muddy Waters & Woody Guthrie. When he transformed into Rock & Roll, it was revered as a sellout and rip-off in its early stages. All four of the Beatles might have been misguided by false adjulation.
Some people have great voices but can’t sing. Some people have poor voices but can’t sing well. Dylan is a double threat: bad voice and bad singer. In spite of that, he could write the hell out of a song that others turned into music.

George & Pete had good souls
George had good taste!!!!!
Surprised Smokey Robinson was not on this list.
George even wrote a song about him.
Probs on Paul list 😮
George once sang Dark Horse just cause I asked him to.
You misseed Smokey Robinson. He wrote a song about him.
Didn't George listen any other singers since the 60's. This is all speculation.
G
George had the 2 greatest vocalists of his generation in his own band!
What idiots you are that don’t rate Dylan’s voice,it’s beautiful, like looking at a Van Gogh painting, you either get it or you don’t.

Dylan a singer? C'mon George, you got to be kidding.
I think he's saying his writing made up for it.
Dylan is a singer. He's just a singer with a very unique voice.

No. Only you are.
Coincidentally a bibliography of Bob Dylan is about to be premiered collaborating my historic observations, Jack-Ass.
He was also influenced by Hank Williams. All artists are influenced by others.
Bob Dylan can't sing. He hasn't even a one octave range. I just don't get it.
According to Singing Carrots website, he has 3.2 octaves: singingcarrots.com/artist-range?artist=Bob%20Dylan
@@MusicHistoryToday He still can't sing. His voice sucks.
It`s not the voice, it`s the Brillant Messages Dylan tried to convey. Many can`t sing to good, but they can touch your Heart with their Message.
@@jimbrewster6483 Great singer,great voice.
