My favorite Ringo Starr album is”Ringo”. And not just because of the participation of other Beatles musicians but because it incapacitates the true nature of Ringo. The guy who brings it all together and is, beyond a very talented musician, a very human and lovable chap. His legacy true the “All Starr Band” just proves it

Chuck Berry was famous for hiring whoever was around to back him up so no band there. And how is Bob Dylan a band? Sure he did hire The Band for one of his tours but after that they left him to tour and record on their own.

To me and many others Bob Dylan is over-rated and controversial. He originally got his early influences from social musical gems like Pete Sieger, Paul Robeson, Muddy Waters & Woody Guthrie. When he transformed into Rock & Roll, it was revered as a sellout and rip-off in its early stages. All four of the Beatles might have been misguided by false adjulation.

What I NEVER see anyone speak of, is Dylan's ability -- as an impeccable musician -- to sing more lyrics than it looks like he will have time to fit into a verse or a bar, and yet, he always nails the line and in the designated amount of time that the bar requires. I am a musician of 63 years (guitar player) and music listener since 1950 ... and I have NEVER, EVER seen/heard anyone do that. And The King of Rock and Roll could be divided between Chuck Berry and Buddy Holly.

Nobody ever said, "The Jordanaires featuring Elvis Presley", or "Chuck Berry And His Band". That's not meant as an insult to the bands, just that they were looked at as separate from the main singer, who was considered the "star".
