I agree. I spent 23 years of being miserable. The only cool thing I did was going to Airborne school. I can’t believe more Soldiers aren’t dead because of the piss poor leadership. Whenever young people ask me about my service, I tell them I always did the right thing and tried my hardest but my experience with the Army was really awful. When they tell me they want to join, I tell them their first choice should be the Air Force. Those guys have 90 day deployments and all the cool shit. If they insist on Army, I tell them to go Special Ops and they need to pass selection or they will wind up being a cook or a truck driver. I should have gone Air Force.

I've always wondered if he was in SF. He had an SF soldier on his channel once giving tips on selection. I think he eluded that he worked with him in the past but made it out like maybe not directly on a team. Who knows.
I was getting ready for SFAS to hopefully go ODA and then I lost my identical twin brother to Afghanistan. That knee capped me. I lost all motivation and stopped caring about anything for a while. I wish I pushed through the pain and followed my dreams. I still have a CIB and 3 combat tours under my belt which is more than most so there’s that I guess.
i know right. this is what driving me crazy..our enemies could be watching this and taking notes on how we train and use that against us. i miss the old days when nothing was filmed it was done all in private to the public

Only difference between sf and normal infantry is budget ofc and mission set which is to train foreign troops. And all I've told you is all over TH-cam and even on the usarmy website.

On the lower spectrum, Tier 3, are your Rangers in the army and force reconnaissance in the marines. Tier 1 operators are organized separately by JSOC and consists of Navy Special Warfare Development Group aka DEVGRU aka Seal Team 6 and in the army, Detachment Delta delta force. Tier 1 operators training, is from training of other special forces within its own branch
If your decision making is based on who trains harder and longer you might want to rethink joining the military. Besides, if you can’t look this stuff up for yourself online, how will you be capable of being a Green Beret or Navy SEAL?

Green Berets train longer. Which training is more difficult probably depends on who you ask, it’s subjective
Seal training is harder because you deal with the freezing cold ocean, surf tortue and all the misery that comes with that.
