@@smyers09it’s not great on bosses specifically, hence why the only way to ever down them is by crits which doesn’t happen often unless you’re Junpei, they’re not meant to be downed per say.

Not really. Also, tbh literally any game can be broken and made easy. Even things like Dark Souls and Elden Ring. I don’t why people always say “x game is so easy to break” when that doesn’t really mean anything and purely depends on a player.
Whats more annoying is Persona 1 and 2 didn’t have the protag death= instant game over thing; Persona 3 was the first game to make the protagonist death cause instant game over; that was a deliberate choice to change
I guess your allies canonically freak out so much after your death, they completely forget about all the revive items you have stocked and the fact they know recarm spells. Also they suffer a panic attack, are unable to defend themselves and die as a result

After playing the whole game I can say this one was one of the most tedious boss fights Playing on merciless overall was tedious to a certain point, I think I stopped getting rage seizures ofter fuuka joined since I could create actually usable personas for example dakini or black frost
I get that you should've shifted to yukari for her theurgy, but geez that all out attack did so little for no reason I dont think i managed to get an all-out attack when i did this boss, but I'd expect it to do more instead of just being as strong as a single magic attack from mitsuru

Its not that everybody dies, but the protag is you, the player. If you die the game ends.
